McDonald's — Restaurant in Irving

Was ok....not too crowded....alot of people tend to just "hang out" alot at this one instead of actually eating. They may need a roof over their head possibly maybe more than the food which is fine but they have to respect everyone there and some do and some dont which is the norm sometimes no matter where u go these days. This one said that they're playground was closed still due to repairs it didn't look like they were repairing anything to me I think maybe they just didn't want to have to have an extra place to clean cuz if it's not open then no one can play on it thus it can't get dirty...maybe I don't know. it seems to me....and this is just purely my opinion...., but ever since the pandemic it seems to have opened up a whole new side to fast food restaurants...now they close early whenever they want to or there's not enough staff they just close the lobby no problem go though the drive-thru they tell u...its open... but not everybody wants to go thru the drive thru all the time. that didnt used to be the case back before the covid....if you didn't have enough people you just dealt with it everyone.picked up the slack and u pushed thru it ....you didn't just close the store and now it's no problem just close it or they close way early way before the time like the Carl Road is supposed to close at 10 but they lock the door at 9:30 every night it never fails on the dot. And for some reason the McDonald's lobby on Irving Boulevard they're supposed to close at 10 but they say dining in is done at 8 I don't know where that went wrong and they have the drive through the only thing is that ya its open but then it takes a whole freaking two years to get through the drive-through so it makes it almost impossible I tried to go to Carl Road McDonald's last night and the line was clearly almost out to the service road. I was not moving I didn't have time to just wait in line until I had gray hair so fast food may need to re-evaluate their name and totally change it to something more.fitting to them now......like fastfood until we close or u doze...

This is the 4th time in a row that I have been to this McDonalds and the food and service stinks! This particular time I ordered 20 peice family nuggets and the girl asked me if I wanted 20 burgers...I said 'NO, I want 20 peice nuggets". So I pull up and give her a gift card and my debit card...tell her ( as she is chhit chatting with another worker while I am talking) that I want to pay with the rest of the gift card and the rest with my debit. As I am watching her....she swipes my debit! Then before I have a chance to tell her anything she turns around and says oh I am sorry and hands both the cards back to me. I said ummm, you need to cxl that transaction and do it again! She tells me ummm...we can't...I said what? uhhh you have a debit machine don't you? She told me to pull up tp the next window. So....I pull up to Karen....wow! I tell her the situation in detail...and not just one worker told me it can't be done ...2 workers told me that...after her ugly jestures and rolling of her eyes I finally asked to speak to a manager...she as well (at first) seemed unwilling or wanting to help me either...she just grabbed the cards and told me to pull up....it took 7 minutes for her to finally come out....once she did...her attitude was a little different...I explained to her YOUR EMPLOYEE DID SOMETHING WRONG... why do you have workers treating your customers that way? At least the first girl in the window said she was sorry...NOT MS. KAREN THOUGH.... I would never complain...BUT I AM SO PISSED! On top of that, I drive down the street look inside ....20 BURGERS ,NOT NUGGETS... after the girl asked me burgers??? NO nuggets I told her !!! WOW!!! And once it was all said in done...my fries were soggy, not just cold...soggy!!!!!!...

My daughter and I visited this location after a long day and the customer service experience or lack of I should say made the day worse. They ended up giving me a large coffee instead of my large drink that I ordered that came with the meal. I had another order that needed to be finished and they also needed to get this order right so they asked me to pull up. Finally when I back through the drive-through because it was taking forever for them to bring my food. I let them know that they charged me for a large coffee and I did not order that. The lady gave me my change for the up charge and then I pulled up to the 2nd window because I asked for them to remake the fries that had now got cold.. They made the frost over and I ask for a free Apple pie for the inconvenience. The lady told me that she gave me free fries and she couldn't give me an Apple pie. I told her no those were not free fries I paid for the fries and because it took them forever to get my order right and I had to go back through the line and wait Those fries got cold so this was a remake. I told her the Apple pie was compensation for the inconvenience. So finally another guy came out and agreed to give me the Apple pie. I just feel like I shouldn't have to go through all that because of their mistake. I didn't even eat my Mac plant nor the Apple pie because I felt like they could have done something to harmony by spitting in the food or something. I will not be visiting this McDonald's again. They showed me how much they value their customers. Which...
