Visit 1 : Friends recommend this place.. so when I visited I ordered their tandoori momo, chicken curry with Indian style and roti in main course and garlic fish in appetiser.
The main course was good. The fish was really bad. The fried batter was so rigid that even biting into didn't break it. They just added the fried pieces in sauce. There was literally no softness. The next one is disaster.. it was tandoori momo. I never thought a momo can be served that way. It was like a 2 days old spring roll. I expected it to have a shape of momo but no. The the roll was just rolled in some desi spices and were served. Worst Indian Chinese food I have ever had here.
Visit 2 :
went with friends this time.... it was a disaster... the manchow soup we ordered was smelling like it had egg in it. the crunch noodles were a soft and not really crunchy. then the starters we ordered.. they are mostly made instantly. the meat you want+ sauce= your dish. order chicken sixty 65 he adds sauce to pre fried chicken. same way if you order any thing he just adds a specific sauce. the disastrous part is biryani... it was bade similar way.. and when we complained about the taste and requested refund they said they wont offer refund they will offer a replacement dish if needed . after all this experience we didn't want any food and requested milkshake .. we picked badam milk. there was lot of turmeric and camphor in it. That gave my taste buds a trauma. when we informed the same to the staff they said it a in house special recipe and they are already offering shakes as a replacement and we were asking replacement again. so they wont offer anything else. Who on earth adds turmeric like that and camphor to milk ?
Try ordering 2 or 3 dishes of same meat/paneer and you will see all that changes is the color of the sauce. Really disappointed.
I wouldn't suggest thus place. Don't waste your money and especially your time. Don't put your body...
Read moreMy recent visit to this supposedly zero-rated restaurant was quite frustrating. While the food taste was average, the numerous issues with the service, operations, and atmosphere made for a very poor overall experience.
Firstly, the menu was misleading. Many items listed weren't available, and this was only confirmed when I specifically asked about them. I was told it was a "new menu" with several items "still being planned," which made it incredibly difficult to know what to order. To make matters worse, despite clearly asking for a vegetarian dish, it was incorrectly noted as non-vegetarian. The service was also a significant problem. The staff lacked a welcoming demeanor and were notably inefficient. I was repeatedly questioned about needing water bottles, even after stating "yes, one per person" multiple times. Their responses were often unhelpful and irritating, like "sorry, we don't have all...". Furthermore, the decision to charge for water bottles felt out of place for Dallas, seemingly an attempt to collect extra money rather than offer a standard amenity. Adding to the discomfort, the loud music made the dining area feel more like a pub than a restaurant, which was not conducive to a relaxing meal.
Considering all these issues—the inaccurate menu, the order mistake, the poor service, the unexpected charge for water, and the disruptive atmosphere—I left feeling I'd made a mistake dining here. Given that the food itself was only average, takeout would likely be a much better option for this restaurant, as it would at least bypass the frustrating...
Read moreIf you're craving Indo-Chinese cuisine with an authentic twist, this spot might just hit the right notes. Upon entering, the ambiance immediately stood out to me. It's cozy, well-lit, and offers an inviting atmosphere that feels warm and casual—a perfect spot for a meal with friends or family. The fusion of Indian and Chinese elements in the décor made me feel like I had been transported to an upscale restaurant in India.
Now, onto the food. The flavors were spot on, reminding me of the Indo-Chinese fare you'd find in bustling cities like Mumbai or Delhi. The Manchurian was crisp on the outside and tender inside, while the Hakka noodles had that perfect wok-tossed flavor. It felt like I was back in India enjoying my favorite street-side dishes. The balance of spices was just right, making the food flavorful but not overwhelming. However, one downside was the pricing. While the dishes were flavorful and well-presented, they were on the pricier side. For the portion sizes offered, I did feel like the cost was a bit steep compared to other similar places I’ve tried.
One big drawback to my experience, though, was the presence of insects. I was seated near the outdoor section, and while the ambiance was enjoyable, the constant buzzing and bites from insects were a major irritation. Lastly, the service could use some work. The staff was friendly, but the wait times were longer than expected.
Overall, it was a mixed experience. Would I return? Possibly, for the flavors, but only if they address the...
