Smiley's West Indian American Restaurant — Restaurant in Irvington

Some time ago I used to like this spot until the older woman serving touched my food with her hand. Additionally, more than half the menu isn’t served daily. I had stopped Coming here for about a year.

I finally came back to hoping for a good change but they still barely have anything available.

Update: Another year passed and I came back to check this place. It’s spot on. The price is fair. Customer service is outstanding . The menu is perfect with a variety of items available . The five star is now well deserved. The woman who served me today goes above and beyond.

As long as your price is fair, a variety of item is on the menu and customer service is outstanding this business...

They have a huge selection of drinks and the place was very clean.

Delicious oxtail ( large portion was excellent for the price )

Beef patties were baked nicely and well stuffed.

Cake was nice

A+ : Portions, flavors, right spiced. Beautiful mural and ice cream area.

B- : Oxtail was overcooked and it was overly gelatinous at that point. Rice was mushy / overcooked and looked like a chowder.

Would go back and try something...

Since when is jerk chicken sweet? I have been buying jerk chicken and rice from this place and mine has always somewhat ended up being sweet but I still give them the benefit of the doubt by still ordering. Today I was just pissed off because my jerk chicken was sweet and I did not waste money to eat no sweat jerk chicken from nobody. Like what has happened for yall to be serving sweet jerk chicken might as well call it...
