Manor Grille — Restaurant in Irwin

Visited here , the restaurant part for the first time this evening. Here is my review.

First, charging for every single topping on a burger is insane. 1.00 per topping for lettuce, tomato's, onion. I can see charging for more of the not normal toppings . Maybe I misunderstood about the extra charge. I eat burgers a lot but I have never been or charged for lettuce,onions and tomatoes. Burger was ok but it was extremely greasy.

Moving on, my fiancé got the fish sandwich. The small was extremely tiny. Even Mc Donald’s or churches during lent is bigger. It also came on a burger bun. That’s a first . My fiancé said it was not good . He would reather eat McDonald’s and he dislikes their food.

Got charged 5.50 a piece for a tiny draft beer. When downstairs is 3.50 for the same beer but bigger glass. Pricing seems to be not the same . Waitress only gave 2 menus but there was 4 of us. Took forever to get our food . Must have been over 45 minutes. Our friend said his shrimp was ok.

Don’t think we will return to the restaurant part. We will for downstairs but this is a place we will cross off our list of never returning to eat. We heard mixed things about here but all the not so...

It’s really a shame that this place has fantastic food but the service is absolutely terrible! Me husband and myself walked in and was not greeted. We were able to pick our own seats and sat at the bar. Once we sat down the waitress said “really” she then walks away! She comes back about two minutes later and throws down a menu and walks away. Doesn’t greet us doesn’t acknowledge us. It’s the same woman (red hair with some blonde) that has an attitude every single time we go there. There are a lot of names I would like to call her but I’ll stay professional. If you don’t like what you do then do not work. We got up and left!!!! No matter how good your food is treatment means so much more. I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service of this business. Fantastic food, but terrible customer service. I’m hoping some thing changes soon so I can go back and enjoy their food. Unfortunately if she is there, I won’t be...

When first arriving we read the sign that said to "seat yourself" which we did. All the empty tables were not cleared so we found one and sat down. At least ten minutes past and not one waitress approached our table. The waitress that eventually turned out to be our server must have passed our table several times without acknowledging us. She could have said that she would be with us shortly. At least it would have acknowledged our presence. Finally I stopped one of the waitresses and asked if we were supposed to seat ourselves because there were other tables that came in after us and they were waited on before our table was finally cleared, cleaned and provided with clean place settings. All our waitress had to do was acknowledge us and we would have been satisfied. The remainder of our visit went well after voicing our opinion. The food was very good. We had the breakfast platter.
