The owners of this store are such amazing guys! They support the community they are in so much! One of the owners takes time away from his business and donates his expertise to put on a huge community concert that raises money to support the organization that puts on all the other events! I’m lucky to have had the opportunity to work with him for several years! Their team is always willing to help, huge community supporters, and they run one of the coolest music stores I’ve ever been in! I believe it’s best to buy items from the most knowledgeable you can! These guys are true musicians and very knowledgeable when it comes to instruments! They are a great choice if you are looking for guitars, ukuleles, percussion, and other instruments and accessories! They have a big section of sheet music that can help any level musician feel more comfortable and learn songs they love! These guys can also tune and repair your instrument! If your going kids are looking to try an instrument these guys are...
Read moreWOW! That should be the first thing anyone takes away... WOW! I drove over an hour to drop off guitars on reputation. I was not disappointed! They were quick, professional, warm, inviting, and most importantly.. thorough! I was really in kind of a hurry... but despite that I had to take time to look around the store because the selection is bangin'. I really could have spent--literally--all weekend in there between the new and the vintage gear alike. Not only is this store worth the drive, but it's worth PLANNING it was a destination.. make a day of it with your band or fam... you won't be disappointed. And, when my repairs ended up being a lot more complicated than originally thought, they went ABOVE and beyond to help me out. Customer service like THIS is SO incredibly rare it's unreal! They do not have a competitive spirit, and are truly part of the community. I'm a super tough sell, but Main Street Music is a beacon in the fog for all musicians in our area... make...
Read moreCame into Main St Music wanting 2 things: 1) Fix a used guitar I just bought online at Guitar Center (a competitor). Frets 1-3 were the same pitch on all strings. He took it in the back and came back about a few minutes later and it played fine. He then hooked me up with Kevin, who knows everything about pedals. Kevin sat down with me for a while and I tried a bunch of pedals. He was patient as I played through each one until I found one that I liked (a DOD Gunslinger). It's $45 on Amazon, but it was $29. Yes! I then asked Gary how much I owed for the guitar repair and he said, "don't worry about it." I left MSM as happy as a clam. I expected to pay WAY more than $30 that day. Super great guys! Highly...
