Pitas To Go — Restaurant in Irwindale

The food is great, but the service is another story. We were working at a facility nearby for 10 days and had lunch there every day. There are two guys working there; one is the cashier, and he is very nice, but the older guy in charge was so rude that we were hesitant to go back each day. The food was good, so we went anyway. To give you some context, there were six of us, and our check was around $130 every day. When we asked for garlic sauce (not an extra one, just the one for the meal), we were told that it's not for the beef kebab and only comes with chicken, so we would have to pay. We ordered drinks daily, taking sodas and a Vitaminwater from the fridge. One day, the older man came up screaming that we had ordered five drinks, but the Vitaminwater was $1 more! Had a chicken and beef kabob combo to get a taste for both. Beef is the same as the lackluster steak in steak sandwiches from your generic burger spot. Chicken was equally disappointing. Labeled as Kabobs but they are cut into this weird flat ablong shape. Asked for white rice and was expecting some plain white rice but it looked like brown rice maybe rice a roni? Salad didn't look too fresh. Nothing had the same taste like other spots I like around Glendale. Hummus was fine but pretty sure that was just a good brand. Very big pita bread, which some places don't give enough of so i guess thats nice. Food was done super quick so I'm wondering about the freshness over all of everything. I was excited to try this place by looking at their menu however when I went there before work it was really dark inside so I was kind of unsure if they were open but their door was open so I’m standing there about 5 to 7 minutes looking around like OK is someone gonna come out and it’s about 215 2:30 in the afternoon finally after another three or four minutes a elderly guy comes out with a really bad attitude so I was a little annoyed and decided to go next-door to the wasabi sushi place and I am so glad I did that place is amazing I’m definitely going to do a separate review on that place I mean the customer service was great the food was so fire it was really good I’m definitely taking my family back there but not to...
