To be honest I came here because of an episode of “Hook, Line & Dinner” lol. The episode made it seem incredibly appealing…. The iconic island bar w/ an amazing bartender known as the coconut Dr who was known for his specialty “The Coco Loco”. However, I did not take into consideration that the episode was filmed a decade ago in 2013. As of right now it’s pretty run down, no awesome drinks served up in coconuts / pineapples or even a glass for that matter. Just red solo cups filled to the brim with ice & an alcohol pour that’s so light it could’ve been used as a teething remedy. The prices were those of a local tourist trap at $22 (not including tip) for 2 small drinks. Read moreThis is absolutely a world class ocean front "tiki" bar. It is not some hotel chain's or hollywood knock off. This is the "real deal"! Coconuts cut open to order for your cocktail. Fresh squeezed juices from local trees. Ice cold beers. Locals, surfers and tourists all love the place. Amazing pina coladas and daiquiris.
The coolest thing on Jobos Beach is Coco Loco. The coolest dude at coco Loco is Tito. He's a wild man. This guy is the hardest working , friendliest business owner you'll see anywhere....
