Columbus Keto Treats — Restaurant in Jackson Township

I don't want to discourage anyone from supporting this business or trying it out because it's amazing that they've created such a concept in our very own city and the service is wonderful! Unfortunately, I can't give 5 stars all around because the treats just weren't great to me. My honest opinion (just that.. my humble opinion) is that most of the items I tried were a bit grainy which can be hard to overcome in the keto baking realm. The chocolate chip cookies weren't super flavorful and had that gritty texture going on along with the subtle cooling effect of erythritol. Not inedible, just not overly enjoyable. The lemon pound cake was decent and not a bad texture but was ever so slightly eggy tasting in the undernotes. My favorite thing hands down was the peanut butter chocolate cake combo. Everything else was fairly mild in flavor, but that cake and frosting combination was great (the frosting is extremely sweet and the cakes are quite crumbly but the taste there is pretty good).

I have a picky child-like palate for the most part but speak as one who's been journeying through keto cuisine for quite a while. I didn't try the entirety of the menu, so they may yet have some hard-hitting winners in the bunch. Karri is the super sweet and kind and an awesome baker. It’s rare to find treats that are keto as well as delicious! I avoid eggs so I had asked her if she had any eggless options and at the time she didn’t have any but within a few days after that she made vegan buckeyes are brought for me to try them out. She gifted a dozen of them and my and I tasted and loved! Soon after I ordered more to share with the local vegan meetup group and they were all super happy to get these treats. Karri was so thoughtful, she gifted a dozen of them yet again

Went in for the first time today and had a lovely experience. I generally live a low carb lifestyle so this bakery fits my needs pretty well. Chatted with the owner, Kerrie. So very personable and answered all my questions. Tried a few cupcakes including the marble cupcake and the maple bundt cake. Those two are my favorites and I also had a cold brew. I took her recommendation and had it mixed with heavy whipping cream and a little bit of keto hazelnut sweetener as well as fresh whipped cream on top. It was so refreshing and creamy. Hit the spot. Sat out on the patio for a little bit which was just lovely. Best of luck to this new business and we'll definitely be back...
