So I'm pretty picky when it comes to Coney dogs and this place is spot on. I told my mom to pick anything she wanted for her birthday you eat and I would cook her dinner (I'm the family chef). I thought of course she'd pick steak, bit nope she wanted Coney dogs. So I remembered this joint was on my list to try and figured instead of making my chilli sauce I'd take a break from cooking the weekly big fam dinner and order it. So I ordered 3 cheese dogs, 3 hillbilly slaw dogs, 3 George dogs, a bbq pulled pork sandwich, cheese fries, and normal fries. It was about $50 for the total and well worth every dime. You gotta try this place bc it's extremely tasty. Sorry no pics, the fan devoured it all before i could get the phone out.
Update: my husband lost his wallet while sitting outside in the blue chairs. We called and they went out and found it for him, such a huge relief. Thank God there is still honest ppl in the world, and the staff at George's Coneys is definitely a few of them. Thank you for...

I eat a bit early on weekends, so I was the only customer for awhile. The menu is limited, but they are great at what they do. I ordered a couple colby jack coneys with a side of cole slaw. I asked for easy on the mustard, and just a short wait for my food. And the place started filling up.
I was a little disheartened seeing the amount of onions, but their flavor was so mild and played off the flavor of the coney sauce. The cole slaw was very reminiscent of homemade milk based slaw dressing I grew up with.
Despite the decor and neighborhood, I was treated respectfully and appropriately. The food was exactly what I was looking for, because sometimes you just want a good hotdog. Going to have to return and try some of the...
Read moreNot the same. I have eaten at Georges since it was located on W Broad St and then again when it moved over to Georgesville Rd but this is the first time I have ate here at the new location in Grove City. I am so disappointed. Coneys are not the same taste. Sauce is different, hot dogs are way too soft and mushy and even the onion topping has changed, not the same flavor or texture. I had been craving them for so long and did a take out order. I couldn't believe the prices. $3.10 for one small coney. Come on Georges. When the older Greek man had the restaurant it was great. I know things change but this wasn't change for the better. I wont be ordering from there again. Really stinks cause now theres goes another childhood restaurant gone. I dont know why people change things and raise prices so high as well. Sorry to the original owner that your business has...
