This place has been the most pleasant experience at a restaurant I've had on my band's tour. As soon as we walked in, the woman at the register explained the menu in great detail and explained what options we have with the entrees. You can get combo entrees from chicken, steak, shrimp and tofu. Then you choose vegetables, rice, and finally a sauce. The Yum Yum sauce was unlike anything I've tasted with Japanese dishes. Very sweet and creamy. Was surprised how well it went with the dish.
I was going with the chicken, but asked about the steak and the woman said it was the best steak in town. I don't doubt she was wrong. Was very tender and juicy.
I ordered last in our band, and when I finished the first two band mate's orders were on our table already. The kitchen does not slack around, they cook immediately when the order is placed.
Just wish they had saki ;) But definitely isn't a deal breaker.
Don't go to any of the chains in this town, go here instead and make your...
Read moremy girlfriend introduced me to this lovely little place about 2 years ago, she raved about their thai iced tea and i’d never had it before! after i’d tried it, we naturally became frequent regulars. the only thing that seems to make me feel better when im down is thai and crab rangoon; siam has yet to fail me :’) they are always so kind and appreciative of our company and have lately started to recognize us! today my childhood dog crossed the rainbow bridge. i found out about an hour before they closed and in tears my girlfriend ordered it online and drove me the 20 minutes to grove city to pick it up. when she came out, the sweet lady had given us a cute little pink tea (i’ve yet to try but i already know its delicious) she told my girlfriend that she had assumed it was us so she gave it to us as a gift. she even color coded the straws!!! I instantly started crying again and even harder. thank you thank you thank you. you have no idea how much that simple little action...
Read moreI only give out one star reviews when the food is inedible through mishandling. Think raw, physically contaminated, time temperature abused, etc.
This is a very generous two star review. I ordered the all vegetables chicken hibachi plate. My chicken had to have been par broiled before service, then microwaved before being served. It was underseasoned and rubbery. The vegetables were also missing the crunch of being cooked on a flat top. They had to have been microwaved or steamed then tossed in soysauce and oil. They were a little bit more seasoned than the chicken but still flaccid and mushy. The only reason I was able to have my fill for dinner was because of the pre-bought retailer sauces that were obviously not made in house.
The people working the front counter were busy. But they were prompt, quick, and were...
