Planet Fitness — Local services in Jackson Township

Kaitlyn is extremely rude. She was very rude to me. Would not help me and purposely making me struggle during my day at work. I forgot the code to the employee room. She would not give it to me. Called me stupid and walked away when telling another employee about how horrible she treated me. I was fired. Taylor handed out my phone number to other people in the club. These people all came across as having crushes on. Later to find out they actually were not crushing on me. They were setting me up to get me fired. I believe it's because Taylor told me every week she saw me that I took her job. She wanted the maintenance job. The lady who's in charge of Grove city's planet fitness support group said that she believes Taylor set me up. She would walk her around talking about me how she was crushing on me. Because this is planet fitness. I don't know what she said to management. They would not tell me. I was fired and they would not tell me why. But I believe it's because I turn down her sexual advance. Also I knowTaylor stole a members airpods retailing $300. When the gentleman came into get them she said they weren't there. That night she paired them with her phone. After pairing them with her phone. The member got a notification that it was paired to her phone. He came back in and said I demand my airpods right now. Then she gave them to him. I know she stole it because she told me she stole it and she was scared when she got the notification on her phone. Taylor also says she takes advantage of the clock. She will take an hour to an hour and a half lunch. She also goes in the storage room and in the bathroom with Caitlin to smoke their vape pens. I've seen it several times. I'm not the one to snitch on people, but these girls went out of their way to get me fired and I did nothing wrong. So I think it's only right that I share my experience. I am extremely happy to not work for planet fitness anymore due to them firing me without telling me why or having an investigation. I now have a better job that will lead me a better future. Yes it was upsetting being fired. But thank God I do not work at the judgment free zone that clearly is judgmental.

Fyi to the members. This guy is not owned by planet fitness. This is a franchise that is ran by national fitness partners. Which they just manage most of these clubs. So the owner could sit on a beach sipping a pina colada. If you want to make a complaint, I suggest not going to the front desk or the app. on Google, If you look up national fitness partners you could find their phone number. Their corporate office is in Pennsylvania. From experience real complaints won't make it to the top managers. They Will keep them under the table to make management look good. I hope the real owner sees this or the CEO. You need to fix your HR. PA ester should be fired for retaliating against me. The entire company I talked to even managers my manager managers managers. I give this location 2 stars because its clean, well maintained, and the staff are friendly. But the staff being friendly is also part of the problem. One thing I like about planet fitness is the 30 minute circuit. 20 exercises in 30 minutes, follwing a green (do your set) and red cycle (wipe down the equipment and move to next station). The instructions are clear. Written out, stations are numbered, and there is a colored light system. In my year of coming to this gym, I have only ever seen 1 person using this area as intended other than myself. No matter the time of day. 5am, noon, 8pm, there will always be prople in there doing whatever they feel like doing, who then stare at you like you're the jerk when you are waiting for the person on your next machine to get off, still doing reps during the "STOP" cyle. There is a sign that says this area is exclusively for the 30 minute circuit and that is is regularly monitored by staff. It is not. The only time I have seen a staff member even remotely near that area to replace paper towel or to give a tour, standing right there watching as anywhere between 2 - 8 people just do whatever they want, despite there being either 1 or 2 identical machines out on the main floor. So obviously, this impacts my own workout because I find myself still waiting for machines when it should be a cycle. I like it because its mindless, i dont have to think about my workout, and i can get a full body exercise in 30 minutes and be satified even i didnt really want to go to the gym that day. But dealing with people who are not following the rules of the area, either because they cant read, tell color, count, or just think they are the main character, is a constant struggle if you want to just go in and workout with limited time in the day. When I ask the manager about getting the area more frequently montiored, they told me "that they can go over there, but they cant actually enforce it". So they can revoke your membership for being a "lunk", rude to other customers, and multiple other offenses, but they cant enforce the rules of their actual workout areas. Coming back to my point of the friendly staff, they will not confront people. I have seen people be asked to remove gym bags from the floor, but never once seen them try to enforce the gym in any other manner. So that is why i cancelled my membership. If Im going to have to still wait to use equipment, I am going to a gym that offers more machines in total and enforces their circuit training area. If you want to use treadmills or elipitcals, there are plenty and this is a great place for it. But Ive paid for the gym with a black card membership and cant even use the basic amenities as intended and cant do the workout I want to do because of the other customers at...

The girl with the dark brown hair and septum piercing has no customer service skills. Anytime I visit planet fitness she looks as if she is completely miserable and doesn’t want to be at work(who really wants to be at work anyway?)she can at least be pleasant when spoken to, she comes off as annoyed any time I speak to her and I am tired of it. I work at a leasing office and yes, I deal with irrational people 24/7 but I still treat them with respect and show a smile. The tanning beds have been down and that’s totally understandable, there have been signs on the door to advise of the situation. Tonight how ever(9/11), I showed up to go tanning around 6:45pm and there was a sign on the door stating tanning would open up back up at 8 pm. I go inside to speak with someone to make sure what I was seeing on the sign was correct and a very sweet worker helped me(I believe her name is Ally, she has long blonde hair and glasses) and said to come back around 7:50pm-8pm as tanning would only be up for 30 minutes. I come back at 7:50 and I barley even get through the door and the girl with the dark hair and septum is immediately telling me tanning is down and completely clueless to the fact there is a sign on the door that says it will be open at 8pm. At least let me get to the counter girl. The reason I am giving planet fitness a 1 star is purely due to customer service. Ally and the older woman with dirty blonde hair are the only two workers who are enjoyable to speak with. I truly dread when I get to the counter and see the girl with dark hair bc I know she’s going have such snarky attitude to deal with. And a handful of the other workers are the same exact way.
