Absolutely love coming to the Jersey Mike’s in Jackson, NJ — it’s hands down one of the best spots in town thanks to the incredible crew. Jefferson, Kasey, Chris, and Nick bring the energy every time. Whether it’s Chris cracking jokes while slicing meat, or Kasey giving genuine recommendations like he’s known you forever, they make you feel like part of the Jersey Mike’s family the second you walk in. Jefferson always has a laid-back, chill vibe but gets sandwiches out quick with care, and Nick’s personality is just straight-up hilarious. He always finds a way to make you laugh, even if you’re having a rough day. They’re not just employees, they’re a whole experience.

And let’s not forget Ava at the register — seriously one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. She’s always smiling, super quick with your order, and keeps everything moving while still making everyone feel welcome. Even during the lunch rush when it’s crazy busy, she stays calm and kind, throwing in lighthearted conversation like it’s second nature. Felt Ripped off! Not only have I been a customer for over 20 years. I also worked at this location in HS. I can understand the situation in the world today, which is why when this location significantly increased their prices, it did not bother me a bit. I have felt Jersey Mikes are the best subs, great bread, meat, and toppings pilled high, so worth the price. However, recently I noticed that this location has started skimping. I let it go the first time think the kid behind the counter was just new, but the last time the manager cut the meats. Rather than pilled high, there were literal gaps in meat and toppings on the sandwich. How dare you raise the prices 20% and then cheat the customer. I am a lifelong Jersey girl who never ate at Jersey Mike’s subs before. I grew up in Central Jersey where we went to a sub shop if we wanted a sandwich, not a chain. But today I was in a hurry in Jackson and I needed to grab a sandwich quickly. I had received an alert from the Asbury park press earlier touting Jersey Mike’s, and since I am Trying to watch my calories but not knowing their menu the three men behind the counter were incredibly helpful and sweet.
