American Wings — Restaurant in Jackson

Personally, I've never had an issue ordering from this place when it came to my orders. The prices have gone up due to inflation, but their food is still reasonably priced to me. From October 1, 2021, until December 27, 2021, I have ordered countless lemon pepper wings (my household's favorite; yes, they're small but I like them over those bigger pieces you find at the grocery store because I know they'll be cooked faster and all the way through), their fried rice, and their burgers, which are pretty big/thick for a single patty (at least for me).

If you call and you get an answering machine, then just go up there because (a) the phone could've died so calls won't/can't go through or (b) it's Sunday and they're not open. The only thing I wish they'd do is to wear gloves when showing/handling your food. I'm trusting that their hands are clean at that time because I've not gotten ill or seen anything overly worrying. Overall, I recommend giving this place a try; menu pics were taken December 27, 2021.

We haven't stopped eating here; I started cooking more at home recently since we were eating out a LOT last year. But know we'll be stopping by American Wings when we're craving lemon pepper wings, wanting more bang for the buck sized burgers, and a little something different without having to hit multiple places.

2023 Update: All the above is still the same, but the prices are higher. I just don’t see the option to add or update...

I went there for the first time a couple of days ago. I'm not sure exactly what I expected or even if I expected anything really. However, what I experienced surpassed anything in my wildest dreams!! First let me state that if you are impatient, which I am not, be prepared to wait up to 15 or 20 minutes for your order to be prepared, but I promise you, good things come to those who wait!!

I ordered a Cheeseburger & 5 Wings Combo with Fried Okra and Sweet Tea, plus a small House Fried Rice (which includes chicken and shrimp). The cheeseburger was one of the more delicious ones i have eaten in a while, mostly due to it being freshly made to order. The wings were not cooked so hard that you might chip a tooth, like most wing places these days. I chose, and recommend, the Sweet Chili sauce flavoring, because it was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet and was better than Buffalo Wild Wings! The okra were fried to perfection, plus they added a bit of seasoned salt. They put teriyaki sauce in my rice, which I'm usually not a big fan of, but let me tell you, that rice was so delicious!!

I would highly recommend anyone to go experience some great food there anytime! It's fantastic, and I was provided great customer...

This establishment has been there awhile. And I never stop in.. BUT! today 10/18/2019 I did. Thanks to the lady who mention about the wings and fish. So I got to the counter to place my order. Alessia ( pray that I didn't butchered her name) She was very patient with me. Make sure to give me all the info to please me no matter what I order. I LOVE that Great Customer Service!! Kudos to you my beloved.. Mary she's Awesome help me made sure that my fish was PERFECT for me. Just enough seasoning on the Whiting. I really appreciate that. Only place that I know serve Whiting Fish. So! I order 20 pc. Honey Gold Wings, 2 pc. Whiting, Fries and Fried Okra for my husband... That Honey Gold Wings are OFF the Chain. We you both are very quite and enjoying our food and LICKING FINGERS!! LOL! And we got plenty for the price... Looking forward to stopping by soon. REAL SOON!! OH!
