Kroger — Local services in Jackson

Lynnwood Plaza is my short list hurry up store but the store also has some of my favorite things that aren't available at the other store I shop at. When I've needed help the people are always very kind, friendly and helpful. Kyle is my favorite person, he reaches the Tazo in the top shelf for me. I don't even have to ask and clearly Kyle doesn't even have to be on duty to help me. He's tall and so kind. I haven't gone to a cashier's register to check out in years. I leave the cashiers for people who can't ring up their purchases. When I use self check my items are always perfectly bagged. All my cold stuff, breads, various rooms, are bagged so I don't have to fumble through the bags to put stuff away at home. Nice and saves me a lot of work. I also put the cold stuff on one side of my car and the not cold stuff on the other side of my car. If I'm rushed or busy I know where the cold stuff is so I can get it put away quickly. I love self check, makes everything so much easier. I quit doing pickup at the other store because 'outs' are routine and substitutions are poorly chosen. I can't make Philly cheese steaks with Hawaiian rolls! At Kroger I don't have that problem, I get what I've ordered every time. I don't like shopping and anything that makes it right the first time with less effort is how I do it....

Locally known as, Murder Kroger, don't let that worry you. The inside is outdated and organization is not the best but they always have what I need. Many of the employees have been there for years and are so nice. They don't mind helping you with anything you need. I always take advantage of the clearance items. Nice produce bagged at 99¢ and so many nice plants and flowers that just need a little love. I'm so happy to buy nice organic meats, bakery items and general grocery items for clearance prices. I only wish they had Boars Head meat in the deli. It's just a few minutes from my house. I've never felt uneasy shopping at Lynnwood. I use my Kroger card for gas discounts. The Kroger on Highland is bigger and offers more but that doesn't impress me. Lynnwood is my favorite and def has more of a hometown feel. They recognize us regulars and the customer service keeps me...

Had to do the work of 2 people. Only 1 regular register open and all the self checkout lanes. Yet I saw at least 2 workers just joking around and not taking initiative to help people bag etc. Especially 1 week before a big holiday, Kroger oughta know better! I’m tired of scanning some of my groceries, stopping, having to bag my own groceries cause there are too many items on the belt, then find a place for my things on the floor cause there wasn’t an easy to find extra buggy, go back scan my items and stop and bag 2 more times, then pay the finish up bagging and putting in my cart while the next customer started scanning and sending her items into my stuff. 🤨😑🙄😵‍💫😡 This is getting ridiculous. It’s going to be chaos Black Friday and rest of the season since everyone is a cashier and bagger for themselves wherever they go....
