Burger Barn — Restaurant in Jackson

I've been a customer of this particular establishment since the day they opened and I'm sad to see them going downhill. Had I not already known how good the catfish plate is here I would've drove away as soon as I witnessed trash full and scattered amongst the parking lot as well as an employee sitting in her car smoking with gloved hands, which at first I thought "Well, that was considerate of her."until I noticed she had both hands gloved and not just the one holding the cigarette. Minus the atmosphere, the food was delicious. Not too greasy, flaky white catfish filets with crispy crinkle cut fries and the most unique, mustard heavy, coleslaw you'll ever eat. Interaction is very limited but...

The light skinned lady with the glasses is not friendly I ordered a #1 i'm telling you this lady right here us not friendly and another customer said she wasn't also .. I asked for a drink and she said drink machine down and someone else walked up to get there order and they was given a drink so I walk back up there and say something and another lady we have sweet tea and I'm like dang why the other lady couldn't say that ... so I tell the lady with the glasses if u gonna be up front u need to be more friendly and she gonna say have a good day. .. nah u need to be more friendly ... never been rude too my whole 20 years since I been coming here except today... will not be back if she up...

I was heading to work, with 20 mins to spare, bc my job is only 5 mins away....I paid $7 for fish, hush puppies and fries. I got more FRIES than ANYTHING! My fish was small and only received ONE & HALF OF A HUSH PUPPY! 2 walk-in orders were done before mine while i was the first one there! I even tried to call and let them know and the lady told me to hold on and hung up on me! My suggestion to anyone in the near future, NO MATTER HOW BIG OF A HURRY, CHECK YOUR FOOD OR THEY WILL GIVE U LESS THAN WHAT YOU ARE...
