I was ordering kid's meals and one of the meals I ordered was "crispy tenders" which we all know are chicken tenders. The waitress over the intercom proceeded to tell me that they don't have crispy tenders but they had chicken strips 🤔🤔🤔🤔.....as I continued in confusion, I repeated what I said because I'm looking at the menu under the kid's meals reading it verbatim and she agian says the same thing and to top that off, continues to say that I wasn't looking at the kid's meal but that I was looking at the value meals and began to tell me what was on it 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️.....I then read off EVERY meal listed under kid's meals so she can understand that I can't make this up because I'm looking and reading the menu. She says it again that they didn't have crispy tenders but that they had chicken strips 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️.....my 10 year old says to me, "isn't that the same thing???" 🤣🤣🤣🤣.....flabbergasted I continue to order and tell her I wanted my original order along with a order of "whatever you called it" because I didn't want to say the wrong thing...again. Read moreThis might be the worst Sonic I have ever visited. My first mistake was making a mobile order, which I usually have no issue with but not this time.
I show up to the restaurant and every drive-in is closed/blocked off and customers were forced to go through the drive-thru. While waiting 30 minutes in said drive-thru, I saw at least 3 Sonic employees walking around outside the building on their phones. When I finally get to the window about 20 minutes after arriving, I see about 10 employees on the inside of the building. The one person who checked on me said they lost my ticket and they had to ask me what I ordered but he repeatedly forgot after I informed him of my order multiple times. He comes and tells me they are out of a drink I ordered and I asked for the order to be cancelled/refunded. After telling him this, he said they found some of the drink I wanted so after about 10 minutes at the window and 20 minutes in line (30 minutes total) I get my drinks and an apology saying they are understaffed despite seeing about 10 people in Sonic employee dress while there.

Read moreWe placed an order and repeated the order to ensure it was correct. The person taking the order lashed out with a rude, hostile response. We asked to speak to the manager. Woman came out to the car and said she was the manager - and that she is the one who took the order. She was again very rude. We asked for Sonic Corporate contact. She went back in the building and then sent a carhop out with a phone number scribbled on a piece of torn paper. It was NOT a Sonic corporate number. The carhop was, herself, very rude and started laughing at us. We asked why she was laughing, and she started spouting a string of belligerent remarks to us. Another male carhop came to the car and asked for credit card, saying the terminal at our car did not work. He took our card to make a payment at another terminal - saying the terminal where we parked did not work. Overall, every person we encountered at this Sonic mirrored the rude, hostile and unprofessional manner of the "manager." Our advice: IF YOU'RE TRAVELING THRU JACKSON, TN, STOP AT ANOTHER FAST FOOD RESTRAURANT. THERE ARE A NUMBER OF "GOOD" RESTAURANTS IN THE SURROUNDING BLOCKS. FORGET THIS SONIC DRIVE IN!!
