I like these guys and what they are trying to do, but I don't like the results that come from it. Where is the flavor? The dishes spaghetti, shrimp fettuccini, and the calzone did not hit the spot. I heard good things about their calzone and decided to try it yesterday 6/2/2017. I called the order in and was three or four calzone different options. I asked could I build my own. So I asked for Italian sausage, onions, and tomatoes. When the food arrived thanks to my lovely wife, I bit into the calzone and one bite after another I got onions, cheese, and peppers. I pulled it apart to investigate, and there was little Italian sausage. This calzone was the worst I have had, and I paid good money for it. I believe they could be so much better than they are and hope they will because I'm pulling for them. However, I am moving on back to Bella Italia. I stopped eating their many moons ago. So that's my experience, and everyone has one, right! Those guys should create an outdoor seating area since there drive thru is partially closed off and make the inside area more inviting and with theme. Every table should feel as if its the best table in the house because of its surrounding. Also, I feel very rushed when calling in an order as if they have a website that shows their menu and they should. If my experience with them change, I will be happy to move my ratings to a...
Read moreI have had a tremendous amount of pizza in my life, and Mario's is among the top 10% I've ever eaten.
The place is not fancy, but these folks love their customers, treat them like good friends, and feed them like family. The pizza, stromboli, calzone, and pasta taste like your Italian grandma made them especially for you. Just fantastic.
The portions are enormous for the prices, with the stromboli easily feeding two very hungry adults for less than $13 and their pastas sized even more generously for about the same price.
Everything is packed for to-go, but it's comfortable to eat there. They have a variety of bottled sodas, water, and juices, but nothing on tap and no alcohol 😒.
If we lived nearby, we would eat here weekly. Take advantage if you're blessed to...
Read moreAlways impressed w/ this restaurant until our last order. We all got salads and we all were picking out wilted and brown iceberg lettuce. Normally I don't give a review unless I can say good things, but if you charge a higher price , you must produce a good output. For the price of $5 . for a side salad and $10. for a specialty salad, your $2 a head iceberg lettuce should be fresh. It can be cut right on the spot. So easy. There's no reason for brown, wilted or frozen tasteless lettuce. Clearly you can see it and should not serve that to customers. Our other hot foods were delicious...
