First and last time here. Go to any other bakery! Ordered a cake and it looked pretty nice actually, a bit more expensive but for a nice cake itâs a fair price. I paid almost $100 for this cake and it was the wrong flavor. I called to be sure of the flavor and design several times before the party. I picked it up and asked again âthis is chocolate right?!â She assured me it was, it was not. I called and she said that she would not give me a refund even if I returned the cake. Continued on and had the cake at the party.. called again kind of just to speak to a manager about my frustration - spoke to someone who said they are the owner and she said well if you had brought in at least 3/4ths of the cake they would have given me half my money back. Well! Clearly I didnât know that, but even if I did, you all messed up the cake, so I am supposed to make kids suffer by not eating the cake at the party to get half my money back. They didnât try to rush to fix it, they didnât care. They got their money, made a cake and that was the end of it for them. Disappointed. I recommend not coming here and going to How Sweet It Is by Tim Also the cake just wasnât really great, the design was nice but the taste of the cake...
Read moreIt was very difficult for me to find this place. I drove straight past it! I've added some pictures to hopefully help future customers. It's a very busy looking shop with all kinds of clutter. There were a couple ladies in a section to the left that were either in a mini class or just employees making ribbons, I don't know. There are balloons, ribbons, and a sorts of fabrics all over the place. It's just so cluttered and busy that it's hard to stay focused on what you came there for. There are A LOT of options for sweets here. So many different things in each case. I bought a few different cookies and two mini cakes. The cookies and the cakes looked better than they tasted. I appreciate the creativity, but I'm mainly looking for flavor. They were so dry and the icing on the cakes was so loud and bitter. It felt like I bit into a Styrofoam topper! I almost went back to make sure I got a real cake and not a display one. If they would work on their flavors and revamp, I'd try it again. Unfortunately, my search for a rich, delicious, I'll-happily-become-diabetic bakery...
Read moreWith regards to taste, the cakes are good. In my experience, decorations are minimal, and they donât have a great concept of what colors will look good together. I wasnât pleased with my cake, and said so in a respectful manner, and immediately they got defensive about it. There is something to be said for customer service and treating customers well. The customer isnât always right, but there should be a respectful conversation when a customer voices concern over the look and quality of the product. They did offer to fix it, but it would not have been done in a timely manner, and by that point they had already been rude and blamed me for not being specific enough in my instructions. Instead of blaming a customer, the conversation should be, âIâm sorry you arenât pleased. How can we make the situation right? In the future, please be more specific with instructions.â Please...
