Bamboo Wok — Restaurant in Jacksonville

So I placed an order on my lunch break and they told me it would be delivered in 30mins. I gave them the name of my business and the suite number. In about an hour I called to check on the status. The Man said it is on the way. About 2 mins later I get a call from a business down the road saying they got my order. I called bamboo wok and told them try sent the order to the wrong place. They told me they don't speak English and hung up on me about 6 times until a manager finally answered. He told me he refunded the order. I asked them to please deliver my food and they refused to without another payment. But I had no money because try said it takes 24 hours for the money to be refunded. I begged them to please just bring me some food but they rather me go hungry all day and never order from them again, then to make. My experience with this restaurant Bamboo Wok in Bartram Park was AWFUL. My boyfriend and I hadn’t ate all day so when we sat down of course was looking forward to delicious meal but as I was eating it, I felt like something was wrong with it so I didn’t finish it. I had maybe 5-6 bites. My boyfriend ate all of his. After a few minutes, he was curled up saying his stomach wasn’t feeling well. 20 minutes later we were both in the bathroom with Massive diarrhea.

I went back to the restaurant to let them know what happened. The girl that took my order was there listening as I explained to a younger man. Then said something in Chinese and refused to give a refund.

I’m not sure if this is common or not but I rarely will take my time to complain like this but Definitely made sure to because it was an AWFUL...

Just moved to the area and have been here a few times. Food is only average and Green Tea on San Jose Blvd is much better with lower prices. So reason for one star is as follows: My wife mainly orders the Vegetable Egg Foo Young. Last time there were hardly any vegetables in it. Tonight when ordering she told them about last order and asked to make sure there were extra vegetables to make a normal portion. When she got home she saw they charged an extra dollar for the vegetables. She called and talked to the manager who evidently doesn't know how to deal with customers. He was nasty and refused to even consider returning the extra dollar. As a final thought the Egg Foo Young had the normal amount of vegetables one would expect .
