First, let me start by saying that in general we like First Watch and the San Jose Blvd location is awesome.
If you are considering this location; save yourself the hassle and donāt.
My boyfriend and I have come to this location at least 10 times since they opened. Each time was equally terrible. I donāt know why we kept going back.
Here are some things you can count on from this location:
Dirty dishes, silverware, tables, and seats Painfully slow service Wong or incomplete orders Cold food Incompetent, moody Wait / Host staff Non-existent Management staff Burnt old coffee Feeling of irrigation and regret

We went there today ā for the last time. We arrived and got in line to be seated. The couple in front of us seemed irritated that they hadnāt been seen by the host yet; they must have been already waiting a while. The restaurant was not busy at all. We waited there for about 5 minutes and then heard someone from the back yell for someone to go to the front. Moments later the couple in front of us were seated and shortly after we were seated as well.
We were sat at a booth, which was dirty - big surprise⦠the seat was covered in crumbs and avocado pieces. We give the waitress our order and she wasnāt really paying attention I guess, because when we asked her to read it back it was wrong. We went over it again with her until she had it right. I asked for coffee creamer as she was walking by, so you think she brought it? Ha! No⦠I should have just got up and grabbed it myself. Then our order was brought to us in a to-go bag⦠not what we asked for. I donāt know how they arrived at that conclusion anyway. They took it back to the kitchen window and it sat there for a while. Then I watched as they plated the to-go orders and bring it to us. Of course the food was cold and sloppy and the sides were in cardboard containers. This not being acceptable, we waited for our server to return; 10 minutes later... We asked her what happened with our order and she blamed the kitchen. We asked for our meals to be remade. 20 minutes later we got our food. Everything was hot and correct this time, but the amount of time everything took was ridiculous. We had other things to do today beside sit at First Watch for 2 hours. We finished eating and waited for our server to come by to ask for a manager to discuss our experience - we were surprised the manager had not come by on their own with all of the issues we experienced. Since she didnāt come by, we got up and went to the register which got her attention. We asked for a manager. She returned to us after going back to get the manager, but just told us they were taking care of our check; I guess the manager couldnāt be bothered to talk with us.
We had high hopes for this location, since it was much more convenient for us. We gave it more chances than it deserved. Unfortunately, the quality of service is just horrendous. I donāt know how theyāre still in business - my guess is that they wonāt be for long unless they clean house and start with better...
Ā Ā Ā Read morevery bad experience the restaurant lacks a manager because the waitresses do whatever they want and they don't mind putting you in humiliation which I don't deserve I was spending money I wasn't going to lose I was waiting 45 minutes with my 4 children with diabetes and you are going to sit us at our table after we were waiting outside for almost 45 minutes and another waitress decided to take our table for her group of people who were included in the list will wait at our table I been a manager for 7 years and not perfect but as a manager you have demonstrated how to solve a problem with your clients who are the ones who pay your salary to him ..title is is too big for him ā¦i am certified by Food Safety and Sanitation and this manager hi offer table on the patio to a table dirty not from dust but from previous consumption with brands of drinks and table fo four people a very small table and offer to add chairs the tables outside are small while the people who placed at our table did not consume anything they were just waiting At our table, the table that they wanted next to their group, me and my family were walking from one place to another. I don't know if it was because we were Hispanic, you weren't asking... well, then they cleaned the table that I thought was us. That bothered me more because it was When I realized it was not for us but the group that had already taken the table from us, they sat there for about twenty minutes without consuming and they moved them to the table that came out next to their group. I, with diabetes, was about to faint and they sat there. This bothers me so much when they don't They offered us the table that was taken away from us 20 minutes before, dirty from these people, not from consumption but perhaps bacteria, germs and a disappointment of mockery, humiliation, it bothered me so much and I argued with the manager that I wanted the table disinfected while he showed me a dirty cloth that he had cleaned with. My annoyance made many of my children hungry and the 10-year-old didn't want to be there anymore because people were recording my annoyance and I didn't know that even VIP people could be their mockery because BLACK LIFE HISPANICS MATTER TOO SUNDAY 28 /1215 to 1 i want someone review camara video what happened to me and my family I want an investigation in the restaurant so that this doesn't happen to me anymore, because I want to go there and be mocked. My 10-year-old boy doesn't understand why the customers were recording, so he's feeling like bullying tha manager he doesnāt know manager is a compliment to take care every situation not make people to feel uncomfortable I come back to home to cook i was crying for 2 hour i still donāt fell good we that what happened to us i...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve never experienced anything like this before at the Bartram location, however today was a total disaster! As usual, I used the websiteās āget in lineā option, and I checked in at the hostess station at 1025. She informed me that it would be about 25-30 minutes, which was fine with me. Because it was crowded, my wife and I had to stand right next to the hostess station. About 15 minutes in, I received a text ājust checking in! Will you still be joining us today?ā So, I leaned over to the hostess to ask where my name was on the list, and she showed me where my name was listed on her tablet. Well, at 1100, after hearing the hostesses call out names for other customers, and seeing folks being seated who had come in long after us, I received a text āYou have been removed from the First Watch waitlistā. I thought it was some kind of mistake, so I showed all my texts to the hostess. Her response, āIām sorry, but it will be another 25-30 minutesā, with absolutely no explanation! Neither of the young ladies seemed to care about my situation! Although I was highly upset, I decided to let it go and be patient. At 1120, by now a majority of the crowd were now seated, so I walked over to the young man at the cash register and asked to speak to a manager. He identified himself as one of the managers, and stated that he had only been working there for about 2 months; Iām not sure why he felt the need to tell me that. So I gave him the benefit of the doubt, explained my issue and would you believe his response āIām sorry but itās crowded and theyāre doing the best they canā. Definitely not the response I was expecting from a manager, 2 months or 10 years in the position. Needless to say, at 1125, my wife and I walked out extremely upset and hungry! But because we truly like the food selections at First Watch, we drove over to the San Jose Blvd location. I even explained my frustration to the hostess there, and immediately she was very apologetic for what we had experienced! Her response ālet me see what I can doā! Finally, someone who understood the importance of good customer service! Which, by the way, was fantastic! Lastly, even though my wife and I have been regular patrons at the Bartram location for Sunday breakfast at least 3 times a month, at this point, I donāt see myself going back to that specific...
