We had to wait an extremely long time to order because they had one person on front counter, drive through, and also delivering eat in orders. He also had to take out to the parking lot. He didn't take my order correctly. I asked him about it, and then he corrected it. He didn't give me my drink. While waiting, another person came out and started taking orders. She didn't get the orders correct, she was impolite to customers, and she was complaining to my cashier about how slow he is, and why didn't he get me my drink. She gets my sweet tea, and I ask her if it's a large, and she's like you didn't say large, and how she didn't take my order so she doesn't know. And I did tell her a large. Our order comes out and it's not correct. We ordered the 5.99 special of crab cakes, fish and fries. We got only one crab cake. My husband asked for a copy of our receipt because we didn't get one, and she gave us the wrong receipt. My husband called the customer service number, and was told that he had to email any complaints. Also, there weren't any forks out. I asked her for two forks, and she got a handful and walked right past me to put them out, which I consider rude. She should have handed me two forks. I used the restroom while there. The soap dispenser doesn't work, and the trash can lid was in such a way that you can't throw away your paper towels without touching the trash can lid. Then your hands are dirty again. And the restaurant smelled like sewer. The whole restaurant smelled. After we had been talking about this, she started spraying glade all over the place. One last thing, the restaurant was dirty. Read moreWhen I pulled up to drive thru a woman took my order right away & told me to pull to the window for my total. There was another car at the window & I waited at least 10 minutes or more behind that car before getting to the window. There was only one person working the front counter & drive thru. She had to keep telling the cook she was waiting for my shrimp as I ordered a shrimp & fish dinner. She was getting frustrated because the cook wasn’t listening to her. She was very nice & professional but you could tell she was irritated. While I was waiting at the window to get my order, there were 5 cars behind me in the drive thru line, now. As she kept telling him she needed 6 shrimp for my order & she was repeating the next couple of orders to him. I don’t know if the cook is new or just slow! But the woman at the drive thru window was trying to make sure I got my order correct but I could hear she was having issues with the cook. Also, I ordered a baked potato & it wasn’t cooked, like not just under cooked but I could not eat it. I have no complaint about the woman at the drive thru but overall, it took way too long to get my food. I had been craving fish & shrimp & tried to get this meal at the Captain D’s on Edgewood Ave yesterday 8/17/25, but they had a sign in their drive thru they were only taking cash, their card reader was down. My main issue is the fact that I went through the drive thru yesterday April 20th ordered 2 Supreme Samplers and didn’t get my hush puppies or shrimp and my fries were cold which I didn’t realize until after I got all the way home. I called asked for a manager the man that answered said his name was Marcus and once I explained everything to him he apologized and offered to replace the missing items I explained that I live 20 mins away and did feel like driving all the way back that day. He said that for the inconvenience if I’d come back the next day and replace both meals entirely. I come back today and am told no they can only replace what’s missing and I asked them to reach out to Marcus because he’s not here. The young lady comes back and tells me she spoke to Marcus and that he said that’s not what he said he said he would only replace the missing items but that’s not the conversation we had on the phone. I’m not a liar. I frequent and eat Captain D’s all the time however, after this, I will not I’m not going to be treated this way and inconvenienced And lied to.
