I called in my order while finishing at the nail salon. Pint of House special fried rice, 2 shrimp egg rolls, quart of egg drop soup. Everything tasted great. I'm mainly posting because as I waited behind 1 female customer who was at the counter I observed a bizarre exchange. She asked about a dish and if it was a combo. The young 7th grader answered and then she asked the price to which he also answered. He spoke in the same light sing song voice through every exchange with every customer. For some reason this wacky woman stormed out after he gave her the price, she turned to me and said I don't want anything from a kid who yells. At no point in this exchange did his voice sound anything but nice & musical. He thanks you several times when he is speaking. I think she was just having a bad day. So just in case she post a review for 11/12/2019 around 635pm I was a witness. The young man was so nice I don't think he even understood she was angry. There was absolutely no reason for her comment. Also the lady who is usually at the counter was within ear shot. Absolutely no rudeness. I know he is a 7th grader because I asked him about school after I signed my receipt. His favorite subject is math. If you go in stores and encounter working teens please encourage the youth staff members. Fast service, great food and good...
Read moreWe used to have a small Chinese spot like this at home in East Tennessee, but they got kicked out to make way for a stupid AT&t store. We called it "Sketchy" because from the outside it was a small hole in the wall with a neon sign of Chinese writing that would make that loud neon sign buzz sound as it flashed erratically. Once inside though the people were friendly and the food was absolutely 100% of the best. I would give it a thousand percent for the value! Our beloved sketchy has been gone for several years and while my wife and I were down in Jacksonville, we stumbled upon this place and much to our surprise, it's the same sketchy food!!! I had general tso and the wife had sesame chicken. We then ordered the cheese wontons and after stuffing ourselves, we ordered four to go orders to take back to Tennessee to our kids who also missed our beloved sketchy. As someone mentioned before It's not a big place and there are only a few tables but this place deserves your business! They have their children working with them who were delightful and friendly. 8 hours is a pretty long drive for good Chinese, but if we're within 4 hours I'm sure I can find an excuse to make it to...
