My husband bought me the golden and chocolate oreo ice cream cake for my birthday. My slice and both of my girls slices had hair in them. Went to take it back this morning to see about a refund. I explained the situation and the first thing the lady says is I know the man that makes these cakes and he doesn't have long hair. She wasn't accommodating or apologizing up front. I said I wouldn't lie about hair being in the cake and that I wasn't asking for a new cake on top of the refund, just my money back. The other guy came out and whispered to her and moved the cake behind the counter. He didn't look up to apologize either. They ended up giving me a gift card. Went in there tonight with the family arrive around 9:30pm and had 4 different orders, if it wasn’t for Zakhia I wouldn’t be writing this review. Zakhia is absolutely and angel and I give her props for her professionalism. Tonight she had a line of guests after us and no one but her making each individual order. Her manger Burhan is unpleasant. The attitude presented on his face and the constant looking over this poor girls shoulder as she’s trying her best to complete everyone’s orders. Staff is pretty kind, but are not overly welcoming until you approach with your order. For instance, I’m not always greeted when I walk in, so there is some awkward silence while I’m looking at the menu. That aside, the ice cream is good and there are a lot of options. There’s a wide variety of toppings, but not all of them are advertised from what I’ve seen. I only knew there were more because I looked at the app. Nonetheless, the pricing is very fair as far as regular ice cream goes.
