Horrible experience at this Chipotle. Ordered through app Veggie Burrito. Drove 15 min from Saint Johns to pick up my order. The app said it would be 15 min and when I got there there were literally 5 people waiting around in a small area (wasn't the idea to do pick up to avoid social distancing?). Everyone's order was running late while the actual line making the food had 3 employees and 1 customer. Very poor management. I got my food 10 min late. Then I went home and as soon as opened my order it had a large piece of steak sitting on top. I am a strict vegetarian. So I had to throw it away. I tried calling back the store to get refund but they had no system for anyone to even pick up the phone. I then decided to drive back 15 min to the store to try get new order and also refund for the trouble I went through. The guy making the food apologized to me - I understand mistakes happen. I asked for new order and also refund. He said he would have to talk to his manager who was gone for little bit. I asked why no one else can give me refund? they didn't have answer. I asked why they couldn't call him on the phone - they didn't have answer. Finally he shows up this manager JC. He hears about my problem from his employee but doesn't even come apologize to me but instead goes straight to back. Everyone thought I was fine since I got my new order. Then I ask for manager and he shows up. I explained the problem again to him. But he said he couldn't give me refund since I ordered through app and I would have to contact main customer service tomorrow. I could not understand how a store manager doesn't have authority to just refund my money back to the credit card I paid from. But whatever.. I got a little frustrated after wasting my 1 hour in evening while dealing with this. Manager was rude and got angry at me and said I should not accept the new order if I was asking for refund. I was like - you kidding me? What about the 30 min I wasted driving back and forth twice - who will pay for the trouble? And I thought I was the customer here? I told him I will complain about his store and his service and he didn't even care. Said whatever.... Unbelievable. I will never be going back to Chipotle again. Would recommend everyone to avoid this location altogether, but Chipotle in general i have noticed has been going downhill with the quality of their food, their standards of late have gone down, service sucks, prices are going up slowly with less items- didn't know they don't even include lettuce in veggie bowl now, they have these lifebowl things which are not actually burrito bowls that have lettuce but they don't have other things we would want. Its made confusing and the way they treat their customers they are never getting my...
Read moreOh boy here I am, another Chipotle review. I thought I was done, but this location has truly blown my socks off. I came in with my girlfriend and her little brother to get some food after shopping with them, my men in here will know the feeling. They were out of virtually every ingredient they have to offer, I considered going to Publix down the street and getting some to speed up the process. As we’re trying to get our food and are already waiting on it to be prepared, the employees start bickering with each other. I’m partially offended because they’re doing it while I’m waiting, and partially offended because I’ve been waiting in line 30 something minutes by now so I feel as though if anybody gets to argue with these guys, it should be me. Anyways, the man behind the counter absolutely roasts the man preparing the food, and since he has won he gets back to serving us. This is when it’s revealed to me that the chicken I’ve been waiting on isn’t even being cut yet, because the guy who just got roasted made the genius decision to cut steak instead when that was the only ingredient they had at the counter already, other than the chicken Al pastor which led to my girlfriend paying a fortune when she just wanted chicken. When I tell you I almost jumped over the counter seeing him pull out that steak. I would recommend sending the little broccoli haired white kid through some more training, or possibly a concealed carry class because he’s making decisions that will get him hurt by somebody. When I got the food it wasn’t even that good, and I had to take it out on my girlfriend, which created tension in my relationship. I will never be back if I can help it, especially because I receive better service at the Cava next door. If this location and the town center Chipotle spent even a week with the millennia plaza or Blanding Blvd (by Jeremiah’s not the crafty crab) locations, they would improve so much and really rake in the dough like the best bet does to me on...
Read moreUpdate 15Fe25: Came again to to this location. The last time, it was small, but I have never gotten another burrito of such measly proportions for the cost this time. I asked for a topping that was not given. I asked the server to confirm the topping was on there because she had closed it already, she said yes. When I got home, the topping was not. Severely disappointed with the seevice provided and product. The company needs to change its burrito logo to half the size to make it more accurate to what they give. I don't know what it is about this location, but I would rather drive further to another location or not go at all.
We frequent the same Chipotle location and usually have a good experience. When my family and I walked in at 830pm, there were signs that said there was no lettuce, cheese, corn, mild tomatoes, and no ice. The left side of the bar was put away. We turned around and left immediately. I decided to go back and get food for my son. I asked for 2 burritos with chicken and white rice. The first employee tried to split less than a spoonful of rice for both burritos until another employee said there was one more tub ready. Even after, he put less rice than normal to conserve rice. The chicken amount was decent. The burritos were smaller than they usually are. When I tried to use my BOGO code several times, it would not work. My son did not eat the food because it was not good. I didn't believe him. When I went to taste it, the chicken tasted burnt and was not the typical flavoring. It was also hardened instead of tender and seemed old. I should have used my first instinct and cut my losses, and just went back home. It was not a good experience. I have always thought of this location as my go-to for Chipotle. Maybe it will be...
