We placed a curbside pick up order. When we got the text message that it was ready for pick up, we arrived at the curbside parking, entered our parking spot number as it requests. We sat there for 30 minutes watching the young lady bring food to vehicles parked on either side of us, several had come and gone.
I left my vehicle walked inside and had to stand in a slow line while the cashiers conversed with other patrons. When I finally saw the young lady that appeared to be handling the curbside she was helping a couple that had pulled in next to us and exited their vehicle and went straight in the store. She was telling them that the system had gone done, that she was sorry, and that it had to be because it was Friday the 13th. She looked pretty frazzled.
When she finished with them, I asked about my order, explaining that it was a curbside order that was said to be ready over 30 minutes ago and offered to show her the messages I had received. Her response was that she thought she had already brought it out. I had reassured her I wouldn't be in there had she brought it out. The other customers joked that someone else got my food.
After another 5 minutes of standing there watching this circus, she returned to tell me that the extra "warm up later" meal was not available and if I would like something else. I asked what else I could have for that price, she said she would have to ask her manager and left again.
A few minutes later she returned to tell me that they we warming up the "warm up later" meal now. I asked, isn't it supposed to be cold and for warm up at a later time and how if it wasn't available a few minutes ago how it is now. This seemed to perplex her. She asked, "So you want it cold?". Not sure where this came from, however I made it clear that I wanted the rest of the meal hot as it should be and after an hour of it sitting back there I wasn't sure it would be.
Finally about a little more than an hour after leaving the house to pick up the order, I was finally getting back into my vehicle after completing a good part of here job curbside delivering.
That is why I don't add the tip on the app when ordering. I wait until I pick up my order to see what an appropriate tip will be for services rendered. This location is hit or miss on service, server friendliness, and meal quality. I don't like to say it however it needs to be said.
We like coming here so I hope you take this and it helps you improve in areas that could...
Read moreI am modifying my review from 3 stars to one, the service has gotten even worse from the last visit. I could understand slow service on a holiday but last night my family arrived about 7pm and were seated by 7:10. We placed our orders and received beverages in a timely manner but then no food, no refills of beverages and no update on our orders. After 45 minutes I went to the Hostess stand and requested a Manager stop by our table. Apparently the Hostess notified our server and she finally stopped by and said they were out of what my granddaughter ordered she said our food was ready but because they didn’t have my granddaughters order they were holding our orders (which were barely warm and dry when they were served). My granddaughter ordered chicken pot pie she was told they were out of it by the server when she first ordered, then she ordered chicken and dumplings which she was not told they were out of until after almost an hour. Again I asked for some muffins or biscuits because by now it’s almost 8pm and haven’t received anything except our initial beverage order. The Manager did stop by and said he would check on our orders. So I asked if they planned on serving the other orders that have been sitting for half and hour, he said no he would have the orders remade. About 5 minutes later we received our orders except for my granddaughter but our food was not fresh it was barely warm. I had fish that was dry and cold, the vegetables were also cold. When my granddaughter finally received her food it was very hot because it was freshly made. After well over an hour and requesting biscuits or muffins we still did not receive any. The manager stopped by again and I informed him our food was not hot and we never received our bread. The Manager finally brought a basket of bread and said we didn’t have a bill, considering the fish was cold, dry snd uneatable that was the least they could do. Cracker Barrel used to have good comfort food and friendly service but now it’s horrible. My advice if you risk a meal at Cracker Barrel only order breakfast that is all...

Today I placed my usual online order, which was picked up by Uber Eats. I ordered the All Day Pancake Breakfast, which includes your choice of hash brown casserole or fried apples. I specifically chose the hash brown casserole.
When my order arrived, I received two trays of pancakes, one tray of eggs, and one tray of bacon—no hash browns. I called the store to let them know, and the manager I spoke with was polite, offering to either give me one for a future visit or have me come pick it up.
When I arrived, it was just a small order for one person. I told the young girl at the counter, and she got on her walkie-talkie with a very nonchalant attitude. It was clear she didn’t really care—had it been her own food, I’m sure she would’ve felt differently. I waited 15 minutes before she finally asked, “Are you Prima who had the family hash brown?” I replied, “Yes, that’s what I said when I first came in.”
Then a manager came out and told me it would be another 15 minutes. So I waited all that time just to be told to wait even longer. My breakfast was now cold, and the whole reason I had it delivered was because I was on a time crunch. My appetite and my morning were ruined because I specifically wanted the hash brown casserole with my other items—and my family had been waiting on me to return with it.
The front-of-house staff really needs an attitude check. When a customer comes in with a problem, they should be empathetic and ready to fix it, not make them wait 30 minutes for something that should’ve been correct the first time.
I live up the street and have been a loyal customer to this location for a long time, but today was the last straw. They did refund me when I asked, but I won’t be coming back. This is a reminder—always check your order, whether you pick it up yourself or have...
