King Wok Chinese Take Out — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Let me start of by saying I WAS an recurrent customer at this place ( go once or twice a wk)..They always have a rude and short attitude whenever I call to place an order..I always look passed that because what I order chicken wings and Sesame seed chicken was decent and to be honest this place is convenient because I stay 7 mins away.. On several occasions they have messed up my order however,  always fixed it in the end..Well today, they messed up my order and ask the man at the front to fix it he goes to put and thermometer in my food and "say it's fine" I'm like sir this is not to my liking and not how you guys normally make it Can you please fix it?.. He walks over to The cash register and gets some money and throws my money on the counter 😒 I turned to say something not so pleasant but I said wow and just walked away..This will be my LAST time ever going into this establishment..After disregarding many other reviews similar to this I cont to go to this place however,  I will not be disrespected by a place I frequent..Don't be like me and avoid ALL the signs that this place is not a place you...

I ordered food and it was packaged to go while it was so hot that the plastic lids melted overtop of my food. I normally would’ve shrugged and picked it off but it was too much- my food was unfortunately not edible. I called the restaurant and explained telling them I had pictures… they accused me of trying to get “free food” abs the manager repeatedly told his worker to hang up the phone on me. Sad that they could’ve apologized and remade $10 worth of food to please a customer but instead they were totally unprofessional with poor customer service skills and RUDE managers/owners.I will tell everyone I know about this incident and hope they will (and you too) avoid this place like the plague. We've been going here for a while and it's the same every time! Customer service is terrible. They all are rude and ignore you when you ask a question. They had a bowl filled with precooked chicken that they would pull out and reheat in the grease while having cleaning chemicals right next to it . The lady making the wontons was video chatting with someone and had a bottle of dishwashing soap right next to it . Your phone is dirty and should not be touched while cooking food! This place should be shut down. Ben needs to be called as well as the health department. I found a shaving of metal in my food once and they told me I was trying to basically get free food from them and would not refund my money.
