Hokkaido Japanese Restaurant — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I ordered pretty often from this place but lately they have been overcharging me for things that I didn’t ask for . Then when you ask for a refund the lady which I’m assuming is the owner has attitude. It’s ridiculous because I wasn’t having any issues in the beginning so I’m not understanding what the issue is now. I ask for an extra small little side of shrimp sauce and she assumed I needed a big cup of shrimp sauce so she can charge me between 3.00-5.00 dollars for it . My co workers have had the same issue . It’s not right that they are overcharging people , it’s never the same price and I order the same thing each time. Other days I’m paying between 10-13 for my order and today it was $20.00 . I asked why it was that much and the person checking my order out couldn’t even tell me what the issue was but I already knew she tried to charge me for a big container of shrimp sauce. I see many top ratings for Hokkiado, but my visit was a tad bit underwhelming. I want to start off by saying the ambiance was very nice and appealing. However... While the patrons I happened to be with enjoyed their dinners with 4-5* quality, my meal came out beautiful, but cold. The chicken was tough like it was rushed to be cooked. I had a chicken hibachi plate with filet. The filet was perfect, however. For the price, the plate received was relatively small compared to standard hibachi grill/entertainment fare. The host graciously asked if I would like the plate REMADE. I accepted and not 2 minutes later, did another plate arrive. Now, I am not accusing the business of just sliding the food onto another plate and microwaving, but I have done so enough time to know when this is happening and in my strong opinion, it is.I still was not satisfied and still paid for the meal as I don't run out on bad meals. I’ve eaten here three times and the last two times I’ve been here the waitress (which has been the same one these two times) has been so rude and disrespectful to my boyfriend and I. She has thrown things on the table, rather than handing them to us or placing them nicely on the table, she has rushed us out of the restaurant once during the day time and once at night time which she claims it because they were closing when they close at 9:30 and it was 9:00. We attempted to order some dessert and she told us to hurry up because they close at 9:30 when there were several other customers in there ordering sushi rolls and hibachi at the same time. I really enjoy the food but the service isn’t worth the continuous disrespect we’ve experienced the last couple times we’ve been here.
