I have been to this establishment both dining in and take out. When dining in, the size of the crabs were a decent size, both in and out of crab season. However, when I order for takeout, I somehow seem to get crabs the size of a 5 year old's hand. After 3 times of this occuring with my takeout orders, I called the store and spoke with manager Justin. He suggested that I bring the food back tomorrow as they were getting ready to close. I explained that this was my dinner and that the website said they closed at 10. He rushed me to bring the food in. I brought the food in and showed him the size of the crabs He agreed with my concern and advised that they would make me a new order. I asked to get the same size crabs that I was used to getting when I dined in and those as the size of the customers who were currently being served. I pointed to a few customers who were in the lobby. Justin again stated that this was the size that they had. I then requested a refund and Justin stated that they don't refund. It is their policy. I presented the receipt and advised that nowhere on the receipt did it state that there was a "no refund policy." I was a pick up order and was not made aware of this on the phone either when I placed my order. He then tried to offer me a $15 coupon which I refused as I paid $32. He then stated that he would give me two $15 coupons which I agreed to since I was returning the food. He proceeded to give me two "to go" menus that read $5 off $40 and $10 off $60. I guess he thought that I wouldn't pay attention so I questioned the fact that it was a "to go" menu and that my order of $30 di dnot apply to either coupon. I then again asked for a refund given the apparent attempt to deceive the customer. He refused and I asked to speak to the owner. He stated that he would have the owner call me, but I suspect he probaly won't. I will be following up, but wanted to alert other potential customers of this bad business practice and lack of concern for customer...
Read moreThis is by far the WORSE location I’ve been to in my life from Georgia to Miami this location was bottom of the barrel!!!
Customer Service : TERRIBLE, hostesses doesn’t know how to greet customers upon arrival. She’s lookin at us and we’re looking at her…….everybody just looking lost.
Server: She was pleasant while taking order but she lacked customer service and I’m assuming she hasn’t been a server very long because she never came back to the table in between to check if we needed anything , she didn’t take up the EMPTY appetizer trays (2) or the empty drinking glass before bringing out another I had to tell her to take them up when our food came out because she literally was walking off. No wet wipes on our tables and we weren’t even offered any. My child didn’t have a lid on her cup for a kids drink served in a regular adult sized cup.
Food : Steamed oysters were dry and over cooked , didn’t come with lemons or crackers how they are normally supposed to be served at all Crafty crab locations. Snow crab bundle was full or seasoning no butter ……bag had about one cup or a half of a cup of water and a ton of seasoning. I dang near choked on the seasoning.
Drinks - the bartender can’t mix drinks that’s it and that’s all , had to force myself to finish the drink it was so terrible.
Restroom - Dirty, toilets over flowing and not stocked with toilet paper.
No AC- Are you guys trying to save on the light bill? I weigh 166lbs and my thighs were sticking to the booth seats. It was hot enough outside today and I have to come into a restaurant and be hot too ? sheeeesh
I could have spent my $150 somewhere way better and been more satisfied. I will not be returning here even if the crabs were...
Read moreToday, my family and I dined at Crafty Crab, and our experience was disappointing. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri, which was mostly ice with barely any strawberry flavor or noticeable liquor. I asked for it to be remade, and while they did remake it, it still had an icy, thick slush texture rather than the smooth consistency of a proper daiquiri. We each ordered different variations of the seafood boil. I had crab and shrimp, another family member had crab and crawfish, and my daughter chose mussels. After noticing my daughter hadn't eaten her mussels, she explained that they didn't taste right. This was concerning, as at a seafood restaurant, one doesn't typically eat everything at once, so it was understandable she only realized the issue later. We informed our waitress, Kayla, who was very sweet. She relayed our concerns to a young manager who appeared to be Asian, possibly Korean (though I'm unsure of his exact ethnicity). He suggested that if we had mentioned the issue earlier, they might have been able to do more. He then offered us three green mussels as compensation, but this did not seem sufficient considering my daughter hadn't eaten 5-7 mussels due to their off taste. We weren't trying to scam them; we just wanted to address a genuine concern about the food quality. The response felt dismissive, as if we were being accused of lying. Additionally, the seafood bags were quite skimpy, containing only two potatoes and one corn each. The sauce was very light and not as abundant as expected. Overall, the experience was uneasy and disappointing. I wouldn't recommend Crafty Crab based...
