I initially was not going to leave a review of my experience at this salon but now feel that others should be warned after having such wonderful experiences at other salons Before and After trying this place out. You’re right to speak your mind concerning past hair salon experiences at OTHER salons is adamantly shut down EVEN when your voice is casual, friendly and non- upsetting. I came in to have someone correct a badly applied sew in done off of Cesary Blvd. I sat in the first chair on the right- hand side with a stylist named Sabrina (if I recall correctly). While I was explaining what happened to my hair with the previous stylist, this woman told me that they don’t allow customers to talk about other stylist in their salon. I was stunned into silence because I am a 40- something year old woman and this woman was telling me what I couldn't say out of my own mouth! I let her finish and paid for the shoddy “correction” job and left. I went home and just pulled out what the original woman did only 24 hrs prior and what this stylist failed to correct. A waste of over $200! Needless to say, I will NEVER go back to this salon either which is unfortunate because the other stylists appeared friendly, professional and talented with their work. Just this older woman was nuts and had the nerve to “correct “ my bad sew in by simply removing some of the excessive tracks in my head when any other descent stylist would have said “ I am sorry to inform you of this, but I advise you to have this totally removed and start over.” Instead she was more concerned with protecting the honor of this other stylist! I had to decide whether or not I should make a review for a few months and obviously I decided to do it. I regularly got my hair curled by Lisa for about a year. In that year my hair was constantly damaged by using 2 products one every time I came for a touch up (care free and neuvou wave) as a result my hair had to be cut almost each time I came. The final straw was when she messed up on the day of my sister's wake! The owner and her sister apologized about the experience and asked for a chance to make it right which was nice but I've had enough. It's embarrassing to always leave with damaged hair and the other ladies have their clients with nice hair. It's also messed up to do that on the day of my sister's wake. My DEAD sister! The ladies that work here are wonderful! Professional, knowledgeable, caring, kind, and funny! It really is a team atmosphere where you are a guest here. If you have a style in mind, just show one of them what you want and they will all come together to see who would be the best stylist to hook you up! I've been taking my daughter there for quite some time. Her stylist is Ms. Nita (❤️U)! Ms. Nita is so sweet and caring, and she ensures you are happy with your hair! Now Ms. Lorraine, she is the bomb when it comes to braids and twists (just naming a few). The other day I watched her use a rat tail comb to spin individual locks of hair.
