My husband and I went through the drive through for our first experience at Culver's, so I am not able to speak to the interior of the restaurant. But this was a fairly new restaurant and was clean and well maintained from the outside. There were tables on a patio in front of the restaurant and the drive through order box was to the far side of the patio. The menu was extensive providing choices of seafood, chicken or beef, and we were able to choose from individual items or as a meal including sides and drink. My first impression was, the pricing was pricey for a fast food restaurant. The staff was quick and polite taking our order and was careful to enter our order correctly, asking for clarification when needed. My husband ordered the Cod plate which included your choice of sides and condiments, a drink was extra. I chose to go with the Deluxe Burger meal which came with a double burger w/cheese, fries and a drink. They have Pepsi products. Our total came to a little over $25. We were asked to drive to the window to pay. We both said this better be worth it. At the window, a number was placed on our sideview mirror and we were asked to drive up to the car in front of us. There were two separate lines split by a lane for through traffic. There were about 5-6 cars ahead of us. Our wait was about 5-6 minutes but our food was delivered to our vehicle in separate bags and was piping hot. Once we were able to eat our meal, we were both very pleased to find, it was indeed, worth it. The meals were large portions, freshly prepared and hot. The hamburger was great, one of the best I have had! It was 2 patties of real ground beef with a slice of cheese between them and on top. It had fresh lettuce, tomato, red onion and pickles, all hugged by a soft, warm bun! Heavenly for any meat lover. My husbands cod filets were thick, moist, flaky slices of fish, coated in a crispy fried breading. It was served with fries, hush puppies and cole slaw. He said the slaw was the best he had ever had. The crinkle fries were hot, crispy and just the right saltiness. Needless to say we were both very impressed by our first experience at Culver's, highly recommend this when eating fast food and will definitely visit again in the...
Read moreordered at Culvers tonight at 6:37. I would have filled out the survey at the bottom of the receipt but there’s no survey code so I guess I’ll have to give feedback here. The drive thru lady got my order wrong. She accidentally ordered 2 sandwiches instead of one. My husband ordered a crispy chicken sandwich saying he didn’t want the spicy one. She said “ok, no spicy” and then added both a crispy chicken sandwich and a regular to our order. On the kids burger she added bacon which I didn’t want, nor did I want to pay extra for, and didn’t click the mustard and ketchup.
I didn’t catch the kids burger mistake until we were home but when we got our food I noticed about 5 minutes into our drive we had 2 sandwiches and was confused. When I looked at the receipt I realized what happened and called right away. The lady that answered the phone was rude. She said “well, didn’t you get 2 sandwiches”? And didn’t want to fix it. I explained to her that the girl who placed our order never read back the order to me so there was no way I could have caught the error. I eat at Culvers all the time. She acted like I was trying to scam them- lol- I just don’t want to pay $6 for a spicy sandwich thats gonna end up in the trash. We were a good 15 mins away when she offered to refund only if we came in store. She finally said she’d mail us a value basket coupon instead- which I’m happy for, but at the same time my meal was like $10 over what it should have been and I’d rather have my money back and not a coupon. Not to mention her attitude like I was a scammer and she was doing me a huge favor. Considering the attitude of employees and the incorrect order that was never really fixed I think we’ll be driving a little further to a different Culvers...
Read moreFinding a good burger isn't as easy as one might expect, Culver's helps me rest easier knowing the world hasn't completely forgotten the fundamentals of service and taste.
The whole family went in and ordered burgers, this was the general feedback: tasty patty, excellent bacon, cheese with actual flavor...I would usually give feedback on the quality of the tomato for final mile detail but we skipped veggies lol and went for the family sized basket of fries, onion rings, and cheese curds.
The onion rings were thin cut, crispy, with plenty to go around. Big hit. The curds were perfect and an awesome change of side pace. The fries were crinkle, which is my least favorite fry, but they were crispy and flavorful enough, I would skip them next time and eat twice as many curds. Don't forget sauces, our favorite was the boom boom, although I do wish they had a homemade ranch, it would have changed the game.
The last moment worth mentioning, was the service. The cashier knew the whole menu, was super patient, brings the food to the table, checks on you! She was lovely. It felt like a full restaurant experience. (At checkout, they did not have an option to tip, hopefully they pay a living wage)
Overall tasty experience for around $10/person....
