Dairy Queen gets no stars from me and my experience tonight 6-20-2020, was so awful I will not be returning. I had to push one star just for the post to go through. DQ has a policy about the Blizzard, which is " served upside down or your next one is free". Well Oscar the store manager of store 1115 on Marine Blvd in Jacksonville, NC, forgot to turn my Blizzard upside down. When I called him on it he acted like he didn't hear me. A passenger in my vehicle ordered a separate order which they paid for and they also had a Blizzard. He call himself turning hers upside down and it fell completely out of the cup onto the driver's side of my vehicle on to the ground. Then he tried to say he only needed to turn one upside down because we were in the same car. Oscar argued with me and refused to give me a coupon for another Blizzard. I then asked for the corporate manager number, he gave me a number on a piece of paper and I proceeded to calling it and it was the store number not corporate. He told me he didn't have the number or the corporate manager name. I ended up leaving after sitting there waiting for Oscar to stop arguing with me and give me a coupon. This is not the first time that Oscar forgot to turn the Blizzard upside down. This is a repeated habit, however he does not like to honor the policy. On top of that I now have to take my car to a car wash to get the sticky ice cream off the side. I asked for my money back because at this time, I didn't even want my Blizzard anymore. The manager Oscar was not setting a good example for the shift lead and the four other junior employees that was in the store. Oscar himself does not know good customer service and neither will his employees. I returned the Blizzard and got my money back because I did not want to support that store any more. I will be contacting corporate...

Read moreThis was an awful experience. My children wanted a late evening ice cream. This location is on our way home. I do not typically leave reviews, especially bad ones, b/c I understand we all have off days. However, this was beyond that, in my opinion. The man in the drive thru was taking forever, I began to think we were too close to closing time, so I pulled away only to notice there were people still indoors. I called in as I drove back to the drive thru to make certain they were still open. Lady answered, apologized for the delay. Said they were having "issues" with customers. Noted. I understand and opted to wait in line. No worries. Finally, get up to order and pay. While we waited on our order, I watched inside. It was GROSS. No one wearing gloves, wiping their faces, pants legs, shirts with the ice cream touching everyone's food. One man made some mistake and threw away the order. Another came behind him moving cups around with icream in them on the counter then goes to pick up the trash holding the bag over the three cups, and then back to making cream again- All in front of us, no gloves and not a second to clean hands. The lady that handed my daughter the cone had ice cream running down her chest and wipes her hands across it as she reaches for napkins. The whole place was just disgusting. I've lived here a long time. New places coming in often. I tried to remain loyal, but I am done. I stopped to look for their food/sanitary rating that should be posted, b/c I was curious-not even on site anywhere. I'd venture to...
