We're visiting family here from out of state and decided to try the local brewery. This place has self pouring drinks, which is nice. While I was deciding what drink I wanted, one member grabbed my wrist and scanned my bracelet for me. Then kept demanding that I just start pouring. I was still unsure what I wanted, but he kept telling me to just pour a drink and move. It wasn't even busy, but he was being very pushy and micromanaging to our group. Read moreWe were riding the Chief Ladiga Trail and stopped in for a cool refreshing pint to quench our thirst. The newly opened spot is on the main square in Jacksonville, an easy ride from the trail. The draft house is self serve with the high tech pouring system, it is great for tasting the wide variety of beer, wine and ciders on tap. The atmosphere was laid back with some games, pool table and corn hole. The menu is currently limited with plans to expand and a place in back for food trucks. A lady who worked there approached me as soon as my party arrived and told us (rudely) they were at max capacity and we would need to come back later or another night. She didn’t even ask if we had reservations (we did) and didn’t give us a chance to answer before walking away. Why take reservations if you aren’t taking them into consideration when accepting walk ins? I know this is a new business and it’s busy but if you’re offering reservations, honor them. Otherwise...
