Will not be attending a Rock the South event again. Paid $600.00 for two VIP tickets and VIP parking 2025. We arrive in Cullen, Al at 3pm sharp (when the first performance started). There was hardly any traffic which was great. We attempted to find the VIP parking- there wasn’t a sign in sight. We had no idea where to go. I checked the map they provided and all of the parking just said “parking”. So we ask a deputy. Nothing against him bc he’s there for security but he gave us bogus directions. Received directions again from another deputy which yet again led us to the wrong area. We finally found someone who explained how to get to VIP. We pull up and there is not one single sign that says “VIP”. Come to find out it’s literally the same parking lot everyone else with basic parking uses (the guy in front of us Pulled up, paid for parking and parked right in front of us, so much for VIP). On top of that we’re directed to park on the complete opposite side of the field from the front gate (I paid the extreme price for VIP to avoid all of this junk that typically comes along with concerts). We get inside the event and attempt to find the VIP area. We ask an employee who directs us to a certain area. We walk all the way at out to the opposite side of the event pushing through 20,000 drunk people just to have the other employee tell us the entrance is actually on the opposite side. Mind you, there is not a sign to be seen directing VIP ticket holders where to go. NOT ONE. We finally get to VIP and it’s definitely not VIP. Again I forked out the money to avoid crowds, have somewhat clean restrooms and in general it just be less crowded. Let’s just say we shared the exact same space as General Admission +(so no point in having VIP). They have a VIP food station with the dang line a mile long. Not to mention the entire event is covered in mud with no attempt to put down gravel, wood chips etc. Needless to say I spent $600 just to miss the first two artist trying to get inside. The VIP experience was completely opposite of what you’d expect. No clear signage, direction, unorganized with unknowledgeable employees. The entire experience...
Read moreTerrible experience!!!! I wouldn't recommend and definitely will not be back. It's a horrible experience from the price of food, the way it's set up, how rude people are , the heat! Let me stop right there. Why do they have this the hottest part of the year?!?!? Why not in the spring or fall. And then to make you throw your bottle of water away and sell water for $5 !!!!!!! They made people throw away their sunscreen because it was in a can!!! People you're standing out in 100 degree weather , no shade and no sunscreen. Seemed all rules didn't apply to everybody. Some people were allowed to do things while others weren't. You couldn't get close to the stage because people were absolutely insane and kept getting closer and closer to you until you couldn't breath in the general admission section. I understand it said party section but when you get there super early stand in line for HOURS to be the first to get in there and get a good place and then people at the last minutes crowd you and the staff cares nothing about it it's just not worth it.. Back to the food for a minute a dang corndog was like $25! It would've been a total waste if it wasn't for Jimmie Allen, Morgan Wallen, and Hardy. Oh and Anne Wilson! ALabama this was created to be a celebration but all I saw was chaos , heat strokes, and severely...
Read moreGiving rock the south a single star seems to be to generous for them in my opinion when we first got there and looking for a parking spot we were not sure where to park cause I was looking for a handicap spot talked to one security guard there they told me to turn around go to a stop sign take a right.. ok so I did that by time I got to the stop sign a cop stopped me told me I needed to turn around and look else where so me and the family did I talked to 5 different people before we found a place to park. When we went to stand in line to get in they only had to vip lanes and the rest admission no way to stop people from cutting in line so made the line even longer people were collapsing from the heat by time we finally made it in we already missed 3 performances from the waiting in line the food was of course expensive paid $35 just for a cheeseburger on there website saying that there would be chairs provided for vip only come to find out in was in the tent where you can’t see the stage and it was so loud in there you couldn’t even hear the artist play at the end of the night people were starting to bring the chairs from inside the tent outside so they could sit and actually try to enjoy the concert everything that rock the south posted was a lie and pretty much is a scam not...
