Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Jacksonville

So I am the type of person who only makes reviews when I have either an amazing product or service or a terrible experience. Unfortunately this one is the latter.

I ordered a pizza at 9:12pm on November 27, 2023. The confirmation I received through email said approximately 68-78 minutes until time of delivery. I thought wow, that’s awhile, but I really want this pizza.

I’m just going to round up to 80 minutes for ease “approximately” until time of delivery. Which is usually pretty accurate. That gives me until about 10:32pm and I should have my pizza…. NOPE.

I waited over 2 HOURS for this pizza, that I have already paid for, which was well over the approximate time given.

I called the store 10 times to be exact and nobody answered.

So my last resort was go to the store before it closes to see what went wrong. Keep in mind, I left to go to the store at 11:22pm and ordered my pizza at 9:12pm.

I show up at the store which is advertised to be open until 12AM and the lights are off and doors are locked. So I knock.

The lady who came to the front had told me the delivery guy just left the store with the pizza’s and they were short on staff, so I say alright. Understandable.

Here’s where yes… it gets WORSE. The delivery guy calls me. I miss his call because I was walking back to the car from speaking with the staff working. I call him back. He tells me he is in the parking lot (of my place) with the pizza. I am literally 5 minutes away, maybe even less and ask him to please wait as I have waited over 2 HOURS for this pizza. The LEAST he could do is wait 5 minutes, I explain the only reason I left is because it was taking an unrealistic time to get the pizza. He hangs up on me.

I get back home in 5 minutes. He’s gone.

Worst service I have ever had. Completely unreasonable and disrespectful. Then I get an email with an “offer” that DOES NOT EVEN WORK.

I want my money back. Maybe a free pizza while you’re at it, but this time maybe try to get it here in an hour or less.

Extremely dissatisfied with this service and the way they disrespect their customers. Will NOT be going back to this store...

WORST LOCATION IN JACKSONVILLE HANDS DOWN. THEY TAKE THE CAKE! IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS, I WOULD. Here’s the scenario folks: (05/07/2021) so I placed an order at 7:06pm, the driver leaves the store at 7:25pm. On my receipt, delivery says 38-48 minutes. I am mindful that it is Friday night. I decided to call the store at 8:25pm asking for them to contact the driver and asked for an estimate for my delivery. One to two hours was what I was told smh and they didn’t contact the driver, just said your food is on the way. Called back at 9:10pm, and I am told that they called me( which was a false statement, I received zero calls from domino’s the whole evening into the night) and that the driver couldn’t find my address(though I never got a call from the driver either, I even stood outside searching for a car with the dominos tag on the on top in case they happen to drive by). A couple other false statements made from them was that first, they said when they called, it went straight to voicemail, then changed it up and said that my number was disconnected. Then the “manager” says oh the driver must’ve taken the order without checking it out(how unorganized). THEN I hear in the background “oh.... her order is still here”. At this point I’m livid, and immediately ask for a refund, he just says yea and hangs up on me!!!!! I call back, they denied my call. Called again and supposedly there’s only two members there working and I’m pretty sure the guy who I talked to wasn’t a damn manager. Just horrible customer service and no proper organization all over , they couldn’t even get their lies straight. DONT ORDER FROM...

Tonight I ordered 1 large meat lovers pizza from this location 45th & Main. Got there to pick up my order as I pay when I go in, I had 10 to 15mins wait time. While waiting I noticed an earpiece on the from countertop, I'm like okayyy. Next thing I know this young lady placed dough right next to it and starts to prepare it. This wasn't my order however I was slightly concerned, as another employee comes to the register to check me out I said to her as I pointed "does she see the earpiece right next to an order she's preparing"? She then repeated this to a male employee who I assume might've been in charge. She acted as if it wasn't nothing, and i didn't even look his way for a response i had seen it all. As we're leaving my granddaughter said "Nana when she repeated what you said to him he shrugged his shoulders" as to say "so what". Frankly I'm glad i didn't notice I don't even care for this place anyway. Being that I prefer Pizza Hut someone I know ordered something from Dominos it was a lil tasty so I thought I'd give em a try. After what I saw tonight 1 Dominos does this I wouldn't go back to ANY Dominos no matter the location. The pizza is mediocre wasn't as tasty as I tasted someone else's. This place is nasty and not sanitary, I'm learning more that it's best to cook at home as I've been doing so for the past 2yrs but every now and then I'll try to have something out.
