I love Dunkin! I have said in the past many times that Dunkin does not sell donuts, they sell happiness. I love my strawberry with sprinkles, I stop at Dunkin for one of these donuts at least once a week and every time it brightens my day. Iâve been to this Dunkin a few times in the past months when working in the area. I havenât had any experiences that stuck with me negatively in the past, today blew my mind. I pulled up for a mobile order and was having trouble getting the order to place with the app, not sure if it was a connection error or just the app taking its sweet time but there was no one behind me and it was noon so I respectfully let the girl taking my order know I was waiting for the code to load. She asked if I could just tell her what I was ordering because it was taking too long, and I said âwell itâs all already in my cart, I was just waiting for the code to load but Iâm just gonna get 2 donuts and a medium strawberry with lemonade refresher.â She snapped back in an extremely rude tone âare you telling me your order so that I can get you the food you want? What do you want me to do!?â And I responded respectfully âmaâam I can do whatever works best for you, Iâm not sure why the app isnât loading, Iâd be happy to pay at the window as long as I am able to get my pointsâ then someone else, a man, asked on the mic âare you sure itâs at this locationâ I said âyes Iâm sure itâs for sunbeam itâs just taking a second to give me the code.â Then she got back on the mic and said âwell can you just read me what you want off your phone or pull over and get your stuff figured outâ sounding annoyed so I mentioned very gently and respectfully how there hadnât been anyone behind me or anyone in the line at all since when I pulled up but I complied and just gave her my order traditionally. She rang it up as a new order and said nothing after I read my order except â9.11â in the most spiteful tone I have ever encountered in the service industry. This took all of my appetite away and made me certainly decide I was not going to be spending any money here. Iâm not sure what her problem with me was, Iâm not sure what they are smoking over there if it was a major issue that my app had caused me to take between 3 and 5 minutes in an empty drive thru line. I work in sales. I wear a suit and tie and I treat everyone I encounter daily with an ample amount of respect. I can totally understand that the employees may be stressed and that there may be a grading system that corporate takes very seriously for how long cars spend in the drive thru line (most fast food places operate as such) I know that over 5 minutes in line can put CFA or McDonalds or such businesses âin the redâ for that order. I have never worked in the fast food industry but this is my observation. The number 1 priority for all businesses in this and similar business in the industry is and should always be service. The food industry is really called the service industry. You cannot speak to paying customers in annoyed and condescending manner. It is so disrespectful and truly put a sour feeling in my stomach. I thought about walking in and speaking face to face, but I did not want to embarrass anyone and figured Iâd be able to work my appetite back with this review and by driving less than 10 minutes to the bears other dunkin, where I am confident and excited that my service will be what I expect from what is usually such awesome company. Huge coaching opportunity here because this really got under my skin as a frequent and...
Read moreSo I just left this Dunkinâ Donuts and Iâm not happy. The woman who helped me was fine. I got six donuts and two bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwiches. The man making the sandwiches calls out the two sandwiches, the woman tells him thatâs for a different order in drive through that hasnât gone out yet, so I wait for mine, and I wait, and I wait. Finally after two people who were after me receive their food I asked about mine, the same man then get mad at me saying he called my sandwiches out and he isnât gonna f#*king make them again that I should have been paying attention. Him jot listening to his co-worker is apparently me not paying attention. He then tried to force me to take the old sandwiches that had been sitting there getting cold for 10 mins. I demanded my money for the sandwiches back, which the woman gave to me. All the while the guy in back is talking trash at me. If youâre not happy with your job then go back to school. Thatâs all Iâm saying. Iâll be calling his manager and corporate to make sure someone does something. Pretty sure the woman who helped me was the manager and she seemed to be trying to pacify him. Meaning making me out to be the issue. Not him. Never going back, which sucks because I live across the street. đ±đ° pretty sure the positive reviews down below are...
Read morewill not return to this location. was here 6/9 at 350 PM staff was rude and arguing with each other. lady on drive thru refused to wait on me at the counter because she is "not doing front counter tonight" even tho she had no customers at the drive thru. after about 2 minutes someone came out of the back ask me my order. then proceeded to take the 3 customers orders behind me. no one made my drink. 2 employees that were leaving came out and started horsing around while the lady in the drive thru repeatedly slammed things and kicked things. then the lady shift leader that took my order walked into the back to confront the drive thru lady arguing in front of me, meanwhile I still had no one making my ice coffee. I was not given my receipt so can not complain on the survey. after I was in the store a total of 15 minutes. I very loudly and rudely yelled at the shift leader to please make my damn coffee, I am a paying customer I don't give a damn about your...
