Worst experience ever, they do not accommodate! They dont even let you know ahead of time if the food touches the table and there is no issue with the food you still have to pay full price. HAVE A SIGN STATING IT! I checked all the doors, all the signs, the menus it didnt say it anywhere! Please do not eat here they are rude and you cant explore and try something new you have to stick with what you know! Managers words: “This isnt a place to sample, you have to pay for what you order even if you dont like it” Also they had a sign stating they were short staffed…I think I know why they are short staffed. The manager didnt even come see me when I told 2 servers I wanted to speak with the manager, I had to go look for her! Very unprofessional due to the manager arguing with me and not placing appropriate sign stating they do not accommodate. As someone who works in a restaurant the LEAST they couldve done was post a sign, but the manager told me she didnt need a sign and now I feel as if the whole place is a scam! We went there for Mother's Day. We go there every so often for special occasions because the prices are high. When they were open for lunch we went there quite often . The lunch menu was affordable. The chef we had on Mother's Day wasn't very good. The first thing he did was drop a full container of wasabi sauce and it splashed Everywhere. Fortunately nobody was hit by the mess but it did make a mess of the table and plates. It took a while for someone to come and clean it up. While cooking and serving the food. We were the last two to get served. He piled the rice so much on the first 6 people by the time he got to us there wasn't much left. As far as the vegetables he didn't mix them well and we ended up with almost all zucchini. No broccoli, a few onions and mushrooms. That upset me. I would have liked a nice mixture of the vegetables. I ordered filet and scallops and my husband ordered filet and shrimp. One other person ordered filet and shrimp. She got most of the filet and shrimp and we got what was left. The chef needs to portion out the food so everyone gets what they paid for. I usually don't complain but this was unacceptable. Last but not least the food was bland. Not enough seasoning. This was the worst experience for a table of six. We walked in and were seated immediately. Some of our drink and appetizer order came out with good timing. Because of a food allergy, the server was notified. We did NOT request that plate to be cooked separately and was surprised when that meal came to the table. It came out COLD! A $40 plate. The server was alerted and our modification was made known. The plate was sent back and it was returned the same way. No fuse was made after that since our wishes fell on deaf ears. The grill cook had no enthusiasm (maybe he was tired). The table never received refills on drinks/water. We wanted to order other menu items but no one came to check on us. We tried to make the best of a really BAD situation. The bill came and we were charged for drinks we never received. The server was once again alerted and the mistake was corrected. The final bill came $322 which included a $46 gratuity. I made it clear that this was mediocre service. Our server was ELLEEN. If she’s assigned to your table, request someone else.
