I’ve worked in the service industry and I understand how challenging it can be. Especially in today’s day and age. I do my best to give fair and accurate reviews instead of leading with my emotions when I’ve had a poor experience.
I have come to this new location, that’s been open maybe two months now, quite consistently. Today, the experience was so incredibly poor that after pulling away from the drive thru I parked to make this review.
I sat at the drive thru speaker for close to 5 minutes before I was even acknowledged. There was one vehicle at the pick up window and me in the drive thru. No greeting, just a voice asking me what my order was going to be. I said hello and asked how she was before giving my order. She was not responsive.
When I pulled around I said hello to the young lady, Kimberly. Still nothing. I told her I had a reward for one of the items I ordered and asked her how to convert it before she scanned my rewards code in the app. She said, “I don’t know. I don’t use the app.” She did not offer anything further. So, I moved on, not wanting to press since she was not responsive to finding an answer. She picked up a coffee to hand it to me and I told her that the item I asked for was an iced coffee not a hot coffee. She put the item down and walked away. No response again. She came back with the correct coffee and the 2nd item. I thanked her and expressed to her that I hoped her day got better. No response.
I share this to remind that we are all going through something. I don’t pretend to know what is going on in anyone’s daily life. I chose to do my best to get her to engage, to encourage and leave her better than how she greeted me.
For management, this is an opportunity for you to spend time training up your employees on customer service skills, but also, to encourage your employees that may be struggling with something not work related (or even work related) that they are in a space where they can express themselves and ask for a few minutes to step away and collect themselves before being in a customer service facing role and being welcoming.
I hope something positive comes out of this review for this new location and the employees...

I recently visited the new Dunkin’ on Hodges Boulevard, and let me just say—WOW! This location is hands down the best Dunkin’ I’ve been to. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this place was something special.
The atmosphere is inviting and fresh, with a clean and modern design that immediately caught my eye. Everything was spotless—not just clean for a new establishment, but genuinely impressive. It’s evident they take pride in maintaining a high standard.
What truly set this location apart was the team. The employees were upbeat, professional, and seemed genuinely happy to be there—a rare find in many fast-paced coffee shops. It wasn’t the usual rushed or dysfunctional vibe you sometimes experience elsewhere. They were attentive, efficient, and made sure every customer left satisfied.
The coffee and food were prepared perfectly, and the service was quick without feeling impersonal. It’s clear this team values both speed and quality.
Even though it’s new, I’m confident this Dunkin’ will keep up the amazing work, and I can’t wait to return. If you’re in the area, this is the Dunkin’ to visit. It truly sets a new bar for what a coffee shop experience should be!
Highly recommended—5...
Read moreSo my experience at this place was lovely. It started out with me placing an order on the app showing up 10 to 12 minutes later hoping to find my food ready, to find the staff yelling and cursing at each other, threatening to fight. When I requested a refund, I was told I would have to come back to the store where I no longer feel safe at just to get a refund. Ironically, they can take your money through the app but can’t give it back to you that way the crazier part about all this is this is a brand new location and there’s another location within about a mile and a half away, exact same experience all the years before this opened. Save yourself some time just make some stuff at home and skip...
