A Hidden Gem for Healthy, Flavorful Dining
I just discovered Kairos and I'm absolutely blown away by this incredible healthy food spot! This place is exactly what Jacksonville needed - a restaurant that proves healthy eating doesn't mean sacrificing flavor or satisfaction.
The Food - Simply Outstanding
I ordered their grilled salmon bowl and it exceeded every expectation. The presentation alone was Instagram-worthy - a beautiful white bowl filled with perfectly seasoned brown rice, topped with a gorgeously grilled salmon fillet that had those perfect char marks indicating expert preparation. The sliced avocado was buttery and fresh, and every component worked in harmony together.
What impressed me most was how they managed to make healthy food taste this incredible. The rice had amazing flavor (clearly not just plain brown rice), the salmon was flaky and perfectly cooked with a beautiful sear, and the portion size was generous without being overwhelming. You can tell they source quality ingredients and take real care in their preparation.
The Atmosphere
The restaurant has a clean, modern aesthetic that feels both welcoming and sophisticated. The marble-style countertops and minimalist design create a fresh, healthy vibe that perfectly matches their mission. It's the kind of place where you feel good about nourishing your body while enjoying a genuinely delicious meal.
Why Kairos Stands Out
In a world full of fast-casual restaurants that compromise on either health or taste, Kairos delivers both. This isn't bland "health food" - it's expertly crafted, flavorful cuisine that happens to be good for you. The attention to detail in both preparation and presentation shows they truly care about the dining experience.
Final Thoughts
If you're looking for a place that serves healthy, satisfying meals without the typical health food compromises, Kairos is your answer. I'm already planning my next visit to try more of their menu. This is going to become my new go-to spot for clean eating that actually tastes amazing.
Highly recommend to anyone who values both their health and their taste buds. Kairos has earned a permanent spot on my...

They screw up 80%+ of orders.
Things happen, fair enough…but it shouldn’t happen nearly every visit. That’s a people and/or system issue.
The WORST part however, is their customer service and attitude. They are so cheap and refuse every opportunity to make things right.
The customer is always wrong.
I will never understand businesses that prefer to give up $1,000’s in revenue to save a couple bucks in expense.
Today was my last day ever buying overpriced and inconsistent food from this place. I actually stopped a while ago, buy my wife is pregnant and wants what she wants and has certain restrictions.
All the more reason it’s important for food places to get orders right.
Here’s the “extra pineapple” hill that Kairos decided to die on today.
I specifically tried showing them at the window that there wasn’t extra pineapple, and also they didn’t give extra sauce on the side. They didn't care and "the chef said he put extra on there." Whatever...easier to go to Publix and buy some (again) than try to convince them to do the right thing.
We order the same thing every time, it’s not difficult.
Every single time they’ve messed up my order, I drove back and kindly asked for the missing items. Aways to be met with annoyance and even charging me an extra dollar or two to get the sauce or side they didn’t put on the ticket or in the meal.
If you’re going to eat here, please carefully check your orders.
I also found a staple in my salmon bowl once…yes, a staple.
Some of the staff also also thinks ranch, green avocado sauce and green salsa are the same thing.
Only one time did I ever ask for a refund out of all these mess ups…and guess what: “our system doesn’t let us give refunds.” Not true.
I even tried communicating these things as friendly feedback to management here, genuinely trying to help, but clearly they don’t care.
Kairo’s lack of basic customer service and care for people easily cost them $10,000+/yr in revenue via direct and referral business.
Hope they get it figured out, but we and our friends and family...
Read moreUsed to be a regular here, food is great however their customer service and the way I was treated left me shocked. I walked in and made a togo order for 2 bowls and a quesadilla and when I arrived home with my food I noticed my quesadilla was missing, no big deal it happens. I go back up to Kairos and let them know about my missing item. They told me it would be out shortly. I waited an extra 30 minutes for my steak quesadilla which is odd, because usually restaurants will rush your food out if they forgot it, instead they bumped my order to the back of the line resulting in a massive waste of my time. Once I received my food I go back home, only to find out that they cooked me the completely wrong item, (steak wrap with beans rice lettuce, no cheese). I tried called them but they kept pressing the red button to deny my call for some reason, I called 5 times before the owner answered, and I asked what they would do to compensate my time and order. She only offered to give me credit for my kids quesadilla, and when I asked instead for my money back, she mumbled AND THEN HUNG THE PHONE UP ON ME. I was shocked to see the owner behave in such a way. I was left furious, so I had to drive all the way back to Kairos for the third time, and I demanded my money back in person. This whole situation wasted about an hour of my time just waiting at kairos for my food, and my recook. in short, if you do decide to eat here DO NOT TRUST THAT THEY MADE YOUR ORDER RIGHT, CHECK YOUR FOOD BECAUSE THEY WONT GET IT RIGHT. I am shocked at the behavior of the owner, and I will not...
