Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I have been ordering, mostly delivery, from here for a couple of years. I generally order weekly, if not more often, over the last 2 1/2 years. At least 30% of the time something is wrong with my order, small things that I just don't bother to worry about. This last order though, they didn't put lettuce or tomato on it. When I called the employee agreed they didn't put them on the sandwich, but the manager wanted me to return my delivery order in person in order to receive a replcement or refund, even though everyone understood a mistake had been made. The manager eventually agreed, pending GM approval, to refund my purchase. Well, the GM declined the refund, I was told she would refund the lettuce and tomato only since I did not return my delivery order. I realize this probably will not bother management in the least, but they (this location and the franchise in general) have lost a consistent weekly customer. Don't penalize me for your mistake. I have been here a few times with my children both morning and afternoon because we live nearby. Very rude morning staff so we came in the afternoon/evening this time. Staff was much nicer. Our daughter had to use the restroom and we noticed it smelt like marijuana in there. The last time we came one of their workers was on her phone and kept going outside the front door while we were all standing in a long line waiting to be served. It was just ridiculous! I asked for the Manager's name, they told me it's Heather and that she had actually just left because she is usually there in the AM. I called the next day and requested to speak with Heather and she was very rude. She didn't seem to care about the experience we had. Little girl Madelyn has a serious attitude problem. I don’t know why she’s always so snippy every time I’m in there… not to mention last time I was there I heard her talking badly about a customer after they walked out the door, who keep in mind did absolutely nothing wrong lol. Don’t work in the service industry if you can’t control yourself. Just wanted a smoothie but given the worst attitude about it. Then she storms off to go throw all the chairs up and mop the floors underneath the feet of little babies were they were walking. Starting to think this generation has no common sense. Also, why are owners allowing these businesses to close down 2 hours before locking up?? Allowing no one a place to sit, not even to wait for a drink.
