Their food is mediocre at best and their customer service needs real improvement. Every time I come to this place I never get the same treatment, sometimes I’m greeted with a hello and a smile and other times not as friendly. Today, I came in approximately 40 minutes before they closed which I think is enough time. The cashier looked like she didn’t want to be there and when I walked up to the counter she gave me a very brief smile and just stared at me, she didn’t say anything, so then I just started placing my order before I could get a few sentences in she interrupted me and said “we’re closed” and I followed with “oh I’m sorry I didn’t know you were closed” then realizing that they close at 3pm, I asked the cashier “I thought you close at 3pm” and she immediately looked at her coworker because she didn’t know what to say. I was expecting some sort of response but nothing was said until I was halfway through the door and a man from the back asked what I needed and followed that with “we’re out of grits.” I told the man I didn’t want grits I actually came for a burger but it was fine and left. The entire interaction was very odd to me and now I don’t think I’ll be going back because of it. I think this place has a lot of potential but overall needs some work...

Read moreThe broken up tiny lot and condition of the building should have sent me packing. This was my first visit and I decided to try the food anyway. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The dining area was dark due to the paint color and the flooring was greasy and slippery. The smell was unusual, probably due to the air freshners. I order the salmon croquettes platter with eggs, toast, grits and a side of pancakes. The eggs were overcooked (hence, very brown and rubbery), I couldn't determine what they were cooked in. The salmon croquettes were tasty but the oil they were cooked in wasn't. The toast was buttered with a greasy substance. The grits had cheese on top of it and was the only item I ate.
