I recently had breakfast at the Hardee’s in River City, Jacksonville, FL, and I must say it was an excellent experience from start to finish. This location stands out not just for the quality of its food but for its exceptional cleanliness and outstanding staff.
Food – 5/5
I ordered the ham biscuit along with a cup of coffee, and both exceeded my expectations. The biscuit was fresh, warm, and perfectly baked—flaky on the outside and soft on the inside. The ham was generously portioned, slightly smoky, and had just the right amount of saltiness to complement the buttery biscuit. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying.
The coffee was hot, smooth, and well-balanced, without any burnt or bitter aftertaste. It was a great way to start the morning, pairing perfectly with the biscuit.

This Hardee’s is, without a doubt, one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever visited. The floors, tables, and beverage station were spotless, and even the restrooms were well-maintained. The attention to cleanliness is truly commendable and sets this location apart from many other fast-food establishments.

The staff at this Hardee’s deserves high praise. They were friendly, welcoming, and extremely efficient. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a genuine willingness to provide great service. My order was taken promptly, prepared quickly, and handed to me with care. It was clear that the employees take pride in their work, and their professionalism made the visit even more enjoyable.

Read moreI LOVE ❣️😘 this Hardee's location. It does not matter when I've come, always EXCEPTIONAL service. I usually go as soon as they open to get the gravy and biscuits 2 for $5 deal. The biscuits are so fluffy and soft. You can tell they are made fresh. I save the second one for the next day and it tastes just as fresh as if I've just purchased it.
Last weekend I thought I'd treat my grandsons to Hardee's. This location is not near me. I went to the closest, on Norwood. I couldn't believe the difference in service. It was like day and night. They were rude and didn't give me all my food. One item was the new lemon berry cheesecake pie my grandson really wanted. I didn't realize until I got home. When I called and spoke to their manager they said they would replace it. I went today to get the replacement and they said they don't sell them anymore even though it was still being advertised on their menu board.
I Uber so I said while I wait for a ride let me try this Hardee's. Such super friendly service as always. I asked if they had the pies. She said yes. I ordered four and by the time I got to the window, which was not long at all, they were already bagged and she handed them to me.
If you can, even if it might be out of the way by a few minutes, go to this location. You won't be disappointed. And honestly, this location gets you through the drive thru fast. The Norwood location I was in the drive thru for almost 45 minutes. At this location you will definitely get amazing service, people who care about making sure your food is fresh and delicious, and a much shorter wait time.

Read moreThis is a newer place. It was clean. The bathroom was also clean. As normal the Hardees food was excellent (for fast food). Easy to get and get out. However, my experience was lacking in customer service. I walked up to the cashier and she stared at me. I asked her a question about the burgers. I followed up with another question that she ignored. I gave her my number choice with a substitute of onion rings instead of fries. Then she asked for the size. She had to repeat it 3 times for me because she didn’t speak very loud. As soon as she was done she took off to her left to socialize with her coworkers. Camaraderie among coworkers is important but take care of the customer first. I figured when I got my order that it would include fries instead of onion rings. I was right. She didn’t listen to me. When she put my bag on the counter, she just looked at me to identify that this was my order. No thank you, no have a nice day, no we appreciate your business, no I hope you meal is up to your liking.
