Hardee’s — Restaurant in Jacksonville

5/17/25 Approx 9 a.m. Never in the 40+ years of going to Hardee's in Jacksonville, IL, have I had such a dreadful experience. As we entered, the 2 overflowing trash cans were the prelude to what followed. Placed order quickly. I ordered a burger and curly fries during breakfast. Have done this multiple times throughout the years and have had no problem waiting the extra 15 or so minutes for my hot, fresh meal. My friend got the Frisco breakfast meal. After nearly 30 minutes, many excuses, and watching the female "in charge" fling bags and be dramatic...I got my COLD burger and fries. My friend's food was OK but the coffee wasn't available for refills, nor was there ice in the machine for the soda. If we go back & we will because the choices are few here, if we don't see Dennis or Vannessa, we'll go elsewhere. I do understand things happen (under staffed, system issues, etc) but it's how you handle the situation that matters to...

Always a favorite until last night very disappointed I drove 15 minutes out of my way just to go to Hardy's I even checked Google before I drove to make sure they were open the Internet said they're open until 11:00 p.m. I got there at 9:59 I can see the young man at the cash register inside no one answered the speaker when I pulled up so polled around the building in up to the window the gentleman walked away from the window I then called the store phone to see if they were indeed open until 11 and maybe they're speaker just was not working and the phone just rang and rang continuously needless to say it was very disappointing maybe google...

I usually love Hardee's, but we waited 20 minutes for our food. They had to cook fresh chicken,that was fine, i don't mind waiting on fresh food. Problem was when we got our food, 10 pc. Chicken strips, a thick burger amd 3 orders of onion rings, the onion rings were ice cold. They gave us the same rings that sat while our strips were cooking. After waiting that long, patiently, we should have gotten fresh onion rings. I called to explain the situation and I was offered to come back and get a replacement. I said no, and he offered a credit for new rings. Well at this point I just want my money back. I will update when I...
