Best Buffet — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid and really enjoyed it back then, the food was good, prices were good and it was always a good experience.. unfortunately now I cannot say the same. I stop in maybe once every two months to see if anything improves or changes but it doesn’t. The food is borderline terrible.. I’ve gone at many different times of the day. Lunch can be a bit more fresh but there’s constantly super hard chicken, bland and nasty tasting food and some food sitting or a long time and never being rotated. The desserts are unfortunately the same as the hot food when it comes to these issues. What bothers me more though is now twice in a row (month or two apart) I have gone up for dessert and while I’m at the buffet, the waiter takes my plate, cup and silverware and wipes down the table, I then have to go back up the buffet to get a spoon or fork and deal without a drink. The first time it seemed like a simple mistake and after eating for a bit the waiter offered to get me another drink but I declined as I was done eating. Second time he didn’t say anything to me after I sat back down at a table with no silverware or drink. If they could improve the food to the quality of places like Feast Buffet in Springfield or Little Saigon or even China King then I would definitely be back frequently and I’m sure business would be alot better but currently the only thing of quality is the crab Rangoon. Other than that it would be nice if they waited just a bit to clear the table and make sure I was going to pay my bill. The booths need to be replaced, however, since the food was pretty good, I overlooked the booths. They had a nice selection of Chinese food including buttered shrimp which is a favorite of mine. I would give the food a 4 on a scale of 1 - 5 The price for 2 adults was around $25.00 There reason I gave this a 2** is because the ladies restroom was filthy and I won't go into detail. Let's just say that it was one of the worst I had ever been in. Because of this alone, I will never set foot into this establishment again.
