My wife and I live 5 minute walk from here. We want to love this place. We’re still sad the other place left and so we go here a few times a week because we can and we want to keep this place in business.

It’s just the coffee specialties are so hit and miss. During the holidays, we had 1 good peppermint mocha out of the 20 we probably ordered. We’re probably dumb for still trying and ordering them. Sometimes the drinks we get are so milk heavy it’s disgusting. Once they served me chunky milk. I watched them pour it. I don’t know how to give this place feedback but you guys should legitimately try half the drinks you serve because it’s embarrassing what we’ve paid for. Service is nice. I want to change my review but I need someone to acknowledge how spotty the drinks are here. More than happy to speak to owner...

I miss Lucky Goat. The girl who took my order was very kind. She started heating up my breakfast sandwich right away. I also ordered a coffee. Two employees are standing behind the counter, having a conversation. No one is helping her. There are two people in line behind me and she is doing all the work. Finally, after a few minutes one of the men asks the next person in line if they’ve been helped. The poor girl had to make another breakfast sandwich and my coffee. If the other two employees would have lifted a finger to begin with, the wait time could have been cut in half. Jacksonville Coffee Company has quickly become one of my go-to spots. The coffee is always on point—smooth, bold, and never has that burnt taste you get at chain places. I’ve tried the cold brew, a couple of their lattes, and a cappuccino, and everything has been consistently great.

The vibe here is super chill. It’s a good place to hang out, read, or get some work done without feeling rushed. Staff is friendly and actually seems to care about what they’re serving.

Their pastries and breakfast sandwiches are legit too—fresh and not overpriced.
