I did really love this place, they have amazing variety and the boba is always fresh. The reason for the bad review is I placed a mobile order and went in to pick it up. The lady accused me of being someone that I don’t even know. When I walked in she said “can I ask you a question?” The she shoved a paper in my face with somebody’s name on it. Granted I couldn’t really read the paper because she put it so close in my face but I did see the name.
I don’t know what happened with the person she accused me of being or being involved with. I can only assume the person must’ve gotten into a physical and/or other serious altercation with an employee there or maybe they caught her stealing and pursued criminal charges and don’t want her to come back. I truly do not know. What I do know is I was blasted in front of other people, told not to come back and accused of doing something I truly have no knowledge of.
I really wanted to cry, it would’ve been different if I had actually done something wrong but I’ve never committed any crimes before in my life. I’m also not gay and the worker said I was involved with the woman she accused me of knowing/being. It was a really weird and confusing situation to be in. Hopefully others will have better...

If you are not familiar with ordering bubble tea you can find the menu daunting but not here, the staff are really friendly and helpful with the process. My first bubble tea was in Houston's authentic Chinatown where a lovely local lady taught me how to order. After talking about my likes a little bit we settled on a black milk tea and then told me about all the options for add ons such as tapioca balls, aka. Boba and herb jelly as well as the levels of sweetness. The first time I ordered a milk tea I got it with 30% sugar and Boba but I have since finally settled on a black milk tea with herb jelly and no sugar or ice, delicious. My mom experienced her first visit to Kung Fu yesterday and though she was bewildered by all of the options available she decided to try a Taro slushy which was bright purple and fun looking to boot, she said it was really delicious. The only contrary thing I can say is that I wish they opened before noon so I could enjoy a milk tea in the morning too. Now go and enjoy...
Read moreKung Fu tea is a new hip boba tea shop new to Jacksonville FL. This trendy little spot will definitely give other standing competitors a run for their money. The staff is very friendly the prices are affordable and they're very knowledgeable with helping you make a drink selection. Personally my two favorites right now or are the passion fruit green tea and pineapple green tea both with mango popping bubbles. There Taro is also really delicious they do offer multiple varieties of their car with the sweetness of anywhere from 100% all the way down to 0% sweetness with any selection of Bobo or popping bubbles. The location is also easily accessible being on the corner of Beach Boulevard and Kernan located near the Publix Shopping Center it is easy to see from the street and very easy to find parking. The only reason that I am reading Kung Fu tea a 4 out of 5 stars is because they're just so damn addictive and there's no punch card. Aside from that I would definitely say they're absolutely worth checking out and taking your friends and family up there hope...
