Island Fresh — Restaurant in Jacksonville

UPDATED REVIEW!! After posting the review below, i received a very peculiar response from the owner.

My wife and I, both tried this company a while ago, giving them multiple chances to rectify their mistakes. The food was not to our liking, and we have used multiple similar services with various results.

The owner, or someone claiming to be the owner delivered the food to our front door, and we had several conversations with him and his wife/girlfriend during the process

The orders we received were wrong, quantity was incorrect and the overall taste was bland and did not taste fresh at all. We actually got sick from the last order, which ultimately was the final straw. In the response to my review, the owner seems to indicate that we’re not actual paying customers, and that I’m disrespectful to women?!?, and attaching his family business.

I’m not sure what he’s dealing with on a personal level, to write such a highly inappropriate and unprofessional response.

Relaxing unique decor with an island feel. This lovely family business has it all and they have great coupons. The staff is charming and attentive to every detail of your order which is freshly made in house.. I recommend Island fresh which offers an all age appropriate friendly eatery in a comfortable snug indoor or outdoor setting. The foods varied with breakfast too and great homemade lunches too. They also have delivery and pickup. Uniquely they can send you the prep to prepare your own fresh meals. Absolutely fun yummy experience . So I’m vegan, this place is my new favorite place to eat. I came in the morning and ordered food for breakfast and lunch to take to work. I was concerned if I got a bowl of it would still be good when I got to it hrs later. The guy assured me it would still be very delicious… and it was. I got the avocado toast fries and a quinoa bowl, and added fake meat. Everything I ate was soooo good! If you are looking for something good healthy and not too expensive this is your spot.
