KEEP DRIVING, DON’T STOP! I’ve driven past this place often as I commute to and from work and decided to give their seafood a try. I went inside, placed my order for their seafood platter and picked my four selections of seafood for $25.99. I chose the 2 Fish, 8 Oysters, 10 Shrimp, and 8 Scallops. I sat down and waited for the order to come up. I waited approx. 20mins. While waiting, I watched one of the workers ( a pleasant lady in hijabs) push the bar to the door to open and give drive through customers their orders. I was a little concerned noticing that she never sanitized her hands when she came back in and went straining to handing the next order of food. I know that we take a chance with unclean/unsafe food handling every time we eat. So O just pray over the food. The pleasant lady finally gives me my order which is in an aluminum foil casserole type pan which she covered with foil and poke holes in to vent the fried food. *This is my tip; open your container food BEFORE leaving the inside or driving away if you’re in drive thru. I had NIT ONE SHRIMP in my order, when I was supposed to get 10. I called Jville seafood and explained the I did not get the 10 Shrimp I paid for in my order. The young lady ( Faith is the name she gave when I asked) responded; I’ll tell the manager tomorrow.” She didn’t ask for my number so , before she hung up. I asked her to take my number and have the Manager give me a call to resolve the failure of not giving me my complete order. She said “ hold on.” I held on as long as I was going to with my husband saying “ she’s probably just going to keep you on hold long enough so that you hang up.) My apologies for the long review but O wanted to make customers aware that you may have a similar experience and to check your food. I won’t be back again even to get my money or the missing shrimp. The flounder I got (because I don’t eat catfish or tilapia )was very thin. The scallops? had a beading that was too heavy. The oysters were over cooked and hard. The fries that came with it were mostly dark and had the taste of being fried in old oil. If you’re really hungry and nothing else is available this will do but if you want good seafood I will stick with OP FishHouse. More expensive but so worth it. The positive reviews were a fail and makes me wonder if they were made by family...

Where do I start? I'll start with my 1st visit there. Everything was so delicious that I left this rave review talking about how beautiful and kind the people were there, how good the food was, I talked about how I thought the deals you offered were great for the economy. But after my second visit I was so disappointed I deleted it because I didnt want to mislead people after the oysters were so overcook there was no oyster left to them just a hard crunch. I have never had another visit like the 1st one since. Infact it gets worst everytime. I was there last night which was 09/11/25 I ordered the value liver & wings "AGAIN" this time I ask the lady at the drive-thru window to tell them not to cook my livers too hard leaving them overcooked as with previous orders. Well they were much better, but the wings were cooked so hard trying to bite into one was difficult very dry as if they took pre-cooked wings and dipped them back in oil, the fries were even off some were dark brown and others were the original color. If I may ask, what is going on there, did you all change cooks or something? Is there a timer on food there? This is ridiculous too many times I've been left disappointed because I didn't feel like driving back. I kept returning hoping each time would be better than before. If i could give them a zero I would. Absolutely appalled, annoyed and pissed off. Ordered the croaker platter, side shrimp. Order is repeated. Get wrung up for just the fish. I mention it. Cuz my receipt is wrong. I let it go, didn’t order the shrimp.

I go to sit in my car. Cashier comes out. And tells me “I’m sorry we are out of croaker. Can i sub tilapia, catfish, or whiting??” I don’t eat farm raised. So i ask for snapper. “You gotta pay the difference. Okay you aren’t tryna accommodate me for your screw up. Okay. Catfish please so i can go.

She comes back and ask. What shrimp did you want?? I repeat it. 10 minutes rolls by. I got to check my food. Not up. I stand waiting 5-10 more. Still not up. I ask. “It’s coming, real soon” as ik watching the front end guy argue with the cook and toss someone’s platter on the counter.

Thankfully it wasn’t mine. 🫠🫠🫠🫠 I get to the point where i just want my money. I ask for it. “Your order is here, do you still want it”. Order was ready. Still no shrimp. And no drink that was included.

I get home and open my platter. And the tray is whiting. Not catfish. I’ve been catfished. How ironic.

Yes i ate it. Cuz i didn’t want to leave my house in the first place and only wanted to try them instead of my usual.
