Settled in a food cafeteria in an international supermarket, bringing cultures together, She cooks everything fresh and all by herself. How does she do it? Shes a hero. She brings happiness and joy to every person she feeds. Her regular costumers sat and talked to me and were so sweet and filled with love and appreciation for her and told me that every thing they order is always amazing and consistent. Her food brings everyone together regardless of background. When food is able to do that, then you know it’s really special. If you come and there is a wait then be patient. She’s doing it all herself and it’s worth it. Anyone who says it’s not the best is lying. Simply lying.

I’ve been wanting to try fufu and egusi soup ever since I saw it trending on social media! Jess’s Kitchen was amazing! Plus it’s set in a huge food market —RD International Market on Beach Blvd- with other food vendors which gives you a whole experience! Definitely check them out! Great experience!

The owner lady is really kind! They offer plantains, Nigerian soups, fufu, tomato stew, and more. I grabbed some Egusi soup to go, and it’s absolutely delicious! They didn’t have Ogbono today, but I’m excited to try it next time.

Kesa Kitchen is a hidden gem located inside the RD International Market’s food court. The area is spacious with plenty of seating and it's always clean and well-maintained.

On our first visit, we tried the goat and chicken dishes, both come with Jollof rice, sautéed vegetables, and sweet plantains. Everything was absolutely delicious! The Jollof rice was especially flavorful and the portion sizes were generous. On our return trip, we opted for the beef, which was equally impressive! Tender, juicy, and packed with flavor.

Kesa Kitchen also offers other specialties like soups with tripe and vegetables, though it’s best to call ahead for those as they may not be available every day.

I highly recommend this spot if you're craving authentic and hearty...

This was my son and I's first time eating at this spot and it is definitely a must try!! I had the egusi soup and it was delicious with the pounded yam. Now it makes sense when they lady in line in front of us got a little worried about them not having anymore. It was a nice portion size and I've had this dish a time or two at different spots, but I must say this was the best I've had up to this point. The service was good, the owner was nice and the cashier guy was friendly. I hope the recipe don't change, because you'll got something that is needed here in the Jacksonville area. Hell, I can't wait for our next visit. Note...the food is fresh, so it maybe a little wait, but good and great things are worth waiting for and this place...
