I’ve tried drinks here twice now. This grocery store/food court is so fun to walk around and grab so many things to try (favorites you won’t be able to find at your local Publix) It’s nice to have a cane sugar drink spot in Jacksonville. Before, I could only get something like this when visiting Orlando. So happy we have a convenient spot way closer now.
I really liked both options I’ve tried here. It’s a nice perk to order a drink first, then walk around the store and shop. My only one complaint that’s very specific as to why not 5 stars and only 4 - they have a dollar upcharge for both “light ice” and “no ice.” I can understand the dollar upcharge for no ice, that’s more product. I think a better way to still upcharge for “light ice” would be to make it .50 cents, and not the exact same price as no ice.
Again I know this may read silly but, room temperature drinks in Florida are a pass - especially if it’s a refreshing tea or juice, it’s just too hot here already - at the same time, if I’m paying for a tea or juice, I don’t want it watered down with a bunch of ice either - bc again, I’m not ordering water. There should be some difference in upcharge between light ice and no ice. The product is very good - I would highly recommend anyone interested in trying a cane sugar tea/juice to visit Mia. I would actually visit more often and spend more money here if the price/upcharge seemed more reasonable.
The service is friendly and the food court has been very clean both times I’ve...

They are not handicap friendly, the lady at the register acted like we tried to rob them of a little juice. My mother just had a stroke, she asked for a juice, she doesn't want ice, she's super sensitive, So the lady says $2 extra ! What? Ok so we tell her she doesn't have to fill up the cup all the way, just fill it with the same content as if you had ice in there. She says $2 extra ! By the way, those are the only English words she knew. They speak Spanish, but not Vietnamese. Thank you wasn't part of the vocabulary. So I tell her, you're really going to try to charge this stroke victim in a wheelchair an extra $2 no matter what??? So she doesn't, but she's pissed...
And yeah, I asked my mother if it was even good, she said it wasn't even fresh...
Ouch...
Disappointed all around... I won't even try their "so called...
Read moreSuper disappointed with how stingy this place is. I ordered a $9 drink (already overpriced, let’s be real), and then I asked if they could fill my water bottle with some ice. They straight-up told me I’d have to pay for the ice. Seriously? Charging for ice after I already bought a drink is wild.
I used to come here a lot, even though it’s pricey, but this was the last straw. I’m not giving my money to a place that cares more about squeezing every penny than keeping their customers happy....
