Well, first we ordered online with "Bring Me That" because that is the website they take online orders from, I must state here the problem we had was not with this ordering web site. They did order the correct food. With that said, We placed our orders to be delivered. It took them an 1.5 hours for our order to be delivered. Mind you the restaurant was 9/10ths of a mile away. They could not find the room we were staying in at the hotel. They called and asked if I could come to the hotel lobby to pick up my order. To top all that off, my order was wrong. It was correct on the printed order ticket, but I got Sweet & Sour chicken instead of the honey chicken dinner I ordered...I immediately called and got a message saying "the party you are calling cannot be reached". I tried 3 different times. So I sent a message to Bring Me That, they were apologetic, but they were very specific on the order, which as I told them the order was correct on the ticket. Basically telling me they were absolved from the situation & hoped this experience won't stop me from using them again...Well, Bring Me That, don't hold your breath...Now food quality, it was Ok at best...It has the exact same taste and flavors as these typical Chinese take out places have, up and down the East Coast...I've eaten Chinese take out from New York to Orlando. There's no exciting differences in any of them...I hope to someday find one of these that the owners put a little of their own Asian twist on the food. Anyway, if all you're wanting is something other than the same old burger, it'll do. ..p.s. my wife is feeling a bit sick right now...not sure if it's the food or not. She got the crab ragoon & sesame chicken...as for me I'm feeling ok. But I didn't eat any of her...
Read moreGreen Tea is, without question, the best Chinese restaurant in Jacksonville. As someone who grew up in New York and has been searching for authentic, high-quality Chinese food since moving nearly twenty years ago, I can confidently say this is the closest match to New York-style Chinese cuisine I’ve found.
The food is consistently hot, fresh, and full of flavor. What truly sets Green Tea apart, beyond the outstanding dishes, is the exceptional customer service. The staff are incredibly friendly and treat every customer like family, creating a warm and welcoming expierence.
Whenever my extended family visits from New York or other states, Green Tea is always at the top of their list—and mine. I personally drive 30 minutes each way at least once a week just to enjoy their food, and I know several family members who do the same from other parts of the city. That alone speaks volumes about the quality and consistency of this restaurant.
Green Tea is a true gem in Jacksonville, and I cannot recommend it...
Read moreMy husband and I are new to the city and had a taste for some Chinese cuisine. We looked up a few places near by and just tried one out. Nothing drew us to this particular place besides the location and a few good reviews. Well we definitely found a treasure! We ordered some of our favorite dishes: Pork Lo Mein, Chicken, and Fried Rice. My hubby’s Lo Mein was amazing. Best WE ever had. I ended up wishing I had ordered some for myself. My fried rice was only okay. Pretty generic but the sweet/sour chicken made up for the lackluster rice. The restaurant itself was nice. It’s clean and the staff are polite. We ordered over the phone for “pick up”. The guy that answered the phone was very professional and clear. He read the order back, gave us our price, and timeframe to pick the food up. I definitely...
